When I joined, I was pretty unsure about my skills. Didn't really think they matched up to others.

i just browsed through the site, and looked in the various gig sections, and asked myself 'Can I offer more than this person?'... and if I could, I did. And I got a pretty decent amount of orders built up. Offered an extra 200 words when writing something, an extra 10 minutes when transcribing something etc.

If she looks through fiverr and sees a few things she can beat, that'd be great.

Luckily she's a girl, so she always has the fake girlfriend for a week, look cute in a promo pic type gigs to fall back on

You really need to provide us with what she's good at. If you can write high quality content, then do that. If she's good at creating forums, do that. It really depends on what she's experienced in.

It wouldn't be a bad idea if she did some video testimonials in 720p and then offering a gig extra for 1080p at either $5 or $10 a time. Of course, you'll need to have a good camera for this and also a free dropbox account to upload the videos to since it'll no doubt be higher than the file limit on Fiverr.

She wants to do a gig that ideally she can make a decently hourly wage doing. At least 4 gigs an hour so she's making $16 an hour. If she's taking 1 hour to do 1 gig, that's $4. Something like video testimonials or $5 for 100 words of content would be very good for her to start off with.

OP, can she do product demo in her native language? If she is from Germany, then she can have lots of German women looking forward to hearing about a good product in native language... if she is German and has English language problems, then so does a lot of other German women... for example. Same with any other language... The US cities are filled with ESL people who love to hear in their native language. I don't know, there would be a good-sized market for it, surely.
