Income with Micro Niche Site

Good luck on your journey, I hope they will approve your site for Adsense.

Guys, BIG UPDATE:

I canceled my order of the MNS, because I want to create my own!
First I wil read a few tutorials on how to find keywords etc. and then I will start! :)
Maybe some of you have a few tips for me?

How many exact US searches should my keyword have?
How high should the CPC on AdSense be?
How I can analyze my competition?
How I rank my website? How many articles will I need? Etc. :)

I have a lot of questions that need to be answered before I can start.
I will update this thread as soon as possible.

And again: Please correct my english mistakes since I want to improve my English. :D :D

Around 90 articles
Yea I think you rank for many long tail keyword because you have a lot of article on ur site. That's why you still get the traffic eventhough u didnt do any SEO for ur site.
I used to run an autoblog with a lot of posts and I was getting around 500 uv aday but due to Google new update this doesnt work any more.
However, I think right now if you write a lot of unique and high quality content then you can still get traffic from G without SEO.

Why are you going after micro niche sites? It's a losing battle. Just choose a broad niche a build a site around it, known as an authority site.

How many exact US searches should my keyword have? I think 1000 at least
How high should the CPC on AdSense be? over $1
How I can analyze my competition? You can use Market Samurai. There is a free trial you can download ... look in the download section.
How I rank my website? How many articles will I need? Im not sure about this. but I think you should have around 10 articles for ur site.

Im ranking on #1 spot for 5 of my keywords :)

Yeah, don't go for MNS websites...go for authority !

The downside of this is the cost involved. I would suggest to start with a small project and do all the mistakes on it. Backlinking alone is so tricky these days, you can't risk to ruin a site with 100 articles on it.

That said, for real income I would suggest to build an authority site. Brings authority through internal relevant links. But start the learning process on a small site first!

Things that are important in my experience:

- Learn how to structure a site (if you know the basics of siloing, it's a good start even if you don't silo the page. But you will know how to structure it)
- Learn why it is important not to let certain pages be indexed (like tags or category archives)
- Learn about unique/quality content
- Learn about keyword research and long tails
- Learn about onpage optimization
- Learn about backlinking (there really is so much you can screw up, it took me months to figure it out)

When you feel confident (or at least you understand what these topics are about), I'd say you are ready to start a bigger project / authority site. For now, I'd try to build a 5-10 articles site (make them all relevant to your main topic).

I don't know what MNS service you had, so I can't tell if it would've been the case for you. When I started out, I bought one MNS as well and learned a lot from it. I analyzed internal linking, onpage optimization and backlinking structure (the guy even gave me tutorials about backlinking structure). Guess it wouldn't have been wasted. But you can learn most of it just by reading this forum as well, of course :)

Good luck on your journey. Key is not to give up. trust me, this WILL be frustrating a lot and only if you can endure it and improve yourself constantly, you will become successfull in this game :)

Edit: Btw, german here as well :)

Great post, a perfect example of why BHW is a leading source of information for new and established IMers. Listen to this guy, take time with your learning process while developing an MNS, and then apply it to build an authority website.

What are the differences between a MNS and a authority site?
