Hey,

I have a list of about 70 keywords, and I want to check out the competitions websites.

I was wondering if there was a tool that I could use to copy and paste my keyword list into which would then do a google search on each individual keyword in a seperate window/tab

You know, so I dont have to type in each keyword individually.

Any ideas?

Probably just as quick to do it manually to be honest, or in excel create a list of links

hxxp://www.google.co.uk/search?rlz=1C1GGLS_en-GBGB291GB303&aq=f&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=[keyword 1]

hxxp://www.google.co.uk/search?rlz=1C1GGLS_en-GBGB291GB303&aq=f&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=[keyword 2]

Create an html file out of it, open it up and middle click (open in new tab) all 70 links = 70 clicks..

THe HTML file isnt a bad idea.

Anyone else have an alternative solution?

If you are doing keyword research then I suggest you Google each phrase, check with quotes etc. you'll get much better insight into keywords and niche.

If you want regularly to check rankings of your site for this 70 keywords I would suggest you do this because it's really simple, but it requires you to have firefox (probably possible in other browsers but this is how I would do it).

For practical reasons separate keywords in groups so firefox won't crash when you open all at once. So maybe 2 groups each with 35 keywords.

Google each of this 35 phrases in a new tab. Go to Firefox toolbar click Bookmarks and then "Bookmark All Tabs" it will ask you the name of the "folder" you just name it 1-35 phrases or whatever. When you want to check those you go to bookmarks->1-35 folder and on the bottom of list you click "Open All in tabs" and it will open all 35 Google searches in a new tab.
You can even drag your bookmarking folder to bookmarking toolbar so you can access those folders even easier.

p.s. You can put more websites to load in tabs when you open Firefox. You do that in Firefox options and you separate new site(tab) with pipe sign | but I think Firefox would crash or load 30mins if you put a lot of sites to open as homepage.
