PR5: 0You have to bear in mind when people are talking about the quality of other tools and their PR they are almost exclusively talking about domain PR, also whenever you create a blog on wordpress.com (or similar site), post an article to an authority article site or a page to a Web2.0 site they ALL have no PR whatsoever, they all derive their linking power from you indexing the links and domain authority. So for these to have a smattering of PR pages with plenty of history while also being relevant they are really helpful and quality links.
The thing people always forget about when talking about quality of these links is that they are also all already indexed so they all have history of their own and are perfectly indexable (where other link types will be at about 60% indexable on a good day).

So, it helps to automatically get backlinks from Whois websites, Blog Comments and Trackbacks? I thought links like blog commenting don't really work anymore?
Just curious as to what would be an effective link profille to co-exist with the links obtained thru this software.

It is a common misconception that No Hands SEO will just post to Blog Comments, trackbacks and Whois sites. To be fair that is partly because the sales thread content is now about 3 years out of date (wow I really need to get that updated).
Currently No Hands SEO is able to post to Blogs in the form of comments and trackbacks, Whois sites for indexing, Forum posting, Image Galleries, Guestbooks and URL Shorteners totalling more than 80 platforms with more coming soon. On top of this there is automated RSS feed submission to get your content out there and sitemap submission is coming soon too.
I don't really understand your last question, if you could elaborate I would be happy to help out.

I know that these types of mass links worked well in the past; however, I'm not so sure how well they work nowadays and for how long.
Given this, is there an overall link building / profile strategy when it comes to making use of the links that your software acquires?

Oh they definitely work, with each new update people proclaim the end of X type of link and then a month down the line people start admitting "yeah they are still working fine". I haven't actually heard many people claiming doom and gloom about blog comments for a long time now because, I assume, it is becoming very apparent that decent quality comments (low OBL, PR, d0follow etc) are easily as good as any other type of link for ranking in the short and long term.
Regularly users come in here to say that they have been ranking really well with No Hands SEO and it is only going to get better with time as more features and platforms are added.
As for overall linking strategy I generally setup my profiles to have no more than 250-500 OBL (mostly on a whim but usually 300 or less), disable Guestbooks and any platform that uses pages, LOTS of anchor variations and hand written readable spun relevant comments. I think the main step that most forget to use is the relevant comments. With posting relevant comments to sites with low OBL you are increasing the relevancy of the linking pages to your page, the rest is just setting for higher quality.
For my money sites I will setup a tier profile as it is just a single click option and NHSEO will automatically link to your linking pages then. For long term money sites I will get whatever authority sites are linking back and add them in as another profile or two as well and backlink to them as well.

I just replied to your PM but it sounds like maybe you were using bad proxies when doing the link check. If you use a bad or slow proxy while doing a link check you are increasing the chances of an incorrect fail due to proxy or a timeout.
I don't ever use any proxy for doing link checking as it is very uncommon for any website to have any sort of IP blocking for viewing the page so proxies, even private ones, are not necessary and can just cause issues.

Which proxy to usefor searching? Google passed proxy? Or elite/anonymous proxy that does not have to be google passed?
I know for posting its better to be a private proxy.. But to whom will i purchase to have a reliable private proxy for heavy load of nhandseo

I have been uploading some new videos this past week so that is in the process, however virtually everything (except for entirely new features) is transferable to the newer layout.
If you have any requests for specific guides I would be happy to add it to my list and get one up as soon as is possible.
You want Google passed proxies for searching, not all anonymous or elite proxies are usable for searching.
For posting I have been using SQUID proxies for a long time and have found them to be reliable.
10 proxies will only allow you to use 1 or maybe 2 search threads whereas if you had a proxy leecher like No Hands Proxies you could get 150+ pretty much all the time that would be usable for searching so you could run at at least 10-15 search threads.
I have been running NHSEO with 20 search threads for weeks using the proxies from No Hands Proxies and haven't had any issues, that would require at least 150 private proxies.
Buy the nohandsproxy for scraping and get yourself 10 private proxies for posting. Its a very good combo

Had a quick question. BTW, been a NHS user for almost a year and VERY happy with the software, support, updates, etc. Anyone who doesn't have this needs to get it. That said....
... I noticed sometimes certain proxies are getting temporary time bans from Google. I've been keeping a close watch on the logs as this has been happening more frequently lately. Not sure if it's the proxies I'm using or what it is, I've even taken the threads to their lowest levels and it's still giving me temporary search ban warnings every few hours of use.
Would it be possible to add a feature to automatically stop using proxies that have the temporary ban for a few hours automatically and then start using them again? I don't see an option for it in the settings but it might already be a feature. It would be a great feature if it isn't already. Thanks!
