Yes it is, and a valid point. However it's mostly for water and icecubes actually since it can get warm in the room in the summer. So not that unhealthy, also I'm quite lazy from time to time and then going downstairs and get to the kitchen to get something to drink can be quite the quest.
Our office for our start up is a room in a townhouse. There are 3 of us here, we share one large desk.
Recently me and a coworker "hacked" an ikea coffee table to create a standup desk. 1 ikea coffee table, 2 small shelfs to attach for keyboard and side monitor, and you have a standup desk to put on top of your desk for about $30.
Try it out, I feel I am more energized and get more work done instead of sitting down all day.
