Hi guys, I certainly don't want to take anything away from this great thread but Flippa has recently rolled out a domain name appraisal feature.

Basically, you can either submit your domain for the crowd to give it a value, or if you happen to be interested in domains you can give value appraisals and pick up Flippa credits (even a premium listing!) along the way

I would normally delete this for breaking numerous BHW rules (please read them) but in this case I'll keep it.

I'm not sure I understand the value of random people appraising a domain name. It's arguably better than an automated tool (which everyone can agree doesn't work) but how do you qualify those giving valuations? You wouldn't ask random people in the street what your house is worth and that's effectively what you've built here (especially as you incentivize people to complete multiple valuations - you just attract the wrong crowd).

Feb - 8.26$
Mar - 22.03$
Apr - 5.51$ - so far

The website ranks :

Projected revenue isn't worth much/anything. You'll ideally need at least 3 months of revenue history (at the minimum) assuming you have traffic history.

Well in the case that it has the before mentioned traffic and is pulling in $800/mo. What would you estimate the worth at then?

The traffic sounds very sporadic, so this would concern a potential buyer. I'd expect in the region of $20k without any further info.

Your range is about right. There's no right/wrong way to value sites that are this small. The fact it is dropping in revenue won't help, so anything over $2000 would be decent.

Depends what sort of weight loss. At 9 months old it doesn't have much history to get the 6 figure valuation it should be worth with those revenue numbers. Wait until you get to a year.

It's not worth much. It's small and it's not very old. Someone might pay $1000 for it.

Last two months we have hit 30k in sales both months and growing.

Profit for last two months were about 16k each month. Average of 50% margins including money spend on taxes and traffic and hiring one person to run.

What do you think the site could be worth?

Just pm'd you, ranked #1 page 1 on Google, its a leads for sale site that sells medical alert leads ( Ive fallen and I cant get up) Did around 50k last year, he is also willing to sell all the contacts and all the buyers contracts on the deal as well, hit me up when you can

Warrior Forum sold for $3m+ for 3 x metrics. Why?

I haven't seen the financials of WF or the deal structure itself ($3.2m could have been structured a number of ways, not necessarily cash). Generally speaking, as sites get larger ($100k+ a year), multiples increase, so it's not uncommon to see 3x when sites sell for 7 figures or above.

Hard to say without seeing a full year of financials and exactly what is required to run the site, but probably looking around $300-350k based on the recent financials.

Currently they are worth nothing. Adult niche isn't the easiest. Try an adult forum like gfy.com.
