Need to vent somewhere!

I have quite a big contract with one of my clients, he's quite a new client.. but everything's been running smoothly but oh my days, what a f*ckin idiot he is.

I have waited nearly 10 days for him to come up with a name... he kept asking me for a name, and I politely told him, that it's his decision, as it's his business.

Anyways, the cheek of this guy is unreal! He came up with a name only yesterday and emails me today, saying things are going a bit slow, when everything else is done, we've been waiting on this nut to come up with a name.

On top of that, we had another contract with him, which we've started and he said was ok to go ahead and now he turns around and said that he has someone else to do it!

I was thinking WTF!

What would you guys say or do...

I mean he wants us to do more work for him in future but I feel he's one of those clients that messes around.. i feel like i want to cut ties with him at the end of this contract and say thanks but no thanks, we aren't needing it tbh but been pissed around of some fucking half wit.. no thanks..

what do you think?

Ohh and another really annoying trait he has, is he will say "I leave everything to you" and avoids the questions and then when you do it, he will go oh i need this, this and this done!

Really is grinding me up the way!

I feel like sacking the client ...

However, I have to smile and remain professional ... when deep inside i feel like telling him to fuck off.

I could lose him, however, it's one of those projects the team have spent far much time on, so we are to deep into it, like we are nearly finished. However, I can't believe what I read for him... for all he has a lot of money, there is something about him that is the nightmare client, he messes around, they after he's had 10 days to figure out a fucking name, then wants it completed the very next day! Which if the fucking idiot thought of a name 10 days ago, we could be already finished!

He keeps saying to me "I leave everything to you" which I keep reminding him I need him to work with me, however, that in itself wastes more time...then when you finally go ahead and think fuck it, I will just go ahead.. he will then turn around and go "ohh can you do this, and I don't like that, can you change to this" and this is what really bugs me!

I keep politely telling him but he is a absolute fucking idiot.

trust me, i've had my fair share of messes but fuck me, this client beats em all...

i can never understand how someone like him has so much money, when he almost seems a sandwich short of a picnic upstairs.

Was good money! but the headache it's gave me and the team is unreal!

I would say bottom feeders act like this but this dude has money.

Shame on him, he had some good ideas but will never make anything happen if he keeps going around and doesn't change his attitude.

However, this fella came through a really good guy who refers us a lot of work and this guy is the kind of guy who only wants to speak to speak to organ grinder.

However, I think I am going to do what you say and I'm magically going to take a few days off and refer him onto one of the team.

I think he's the client who everyone dreads but kinds of gets off that everyone running round after him, fuck that! and when he asks for more work, i am going to do the following.... Become sooo busy for the next 12 months, I can't do it or add 40% on for what I like to call "Wanker Tax" to the final quote.

Gotta love wanker tax sometimes!

This way he won't be dissatisfied with you firing or "taxing" the client even when the client eventually complains to him. I 've found it amazing how "poser" gifts work miracles especially to people who already have a lot of money.

Ya I think I am going to cut ties and they're not buddies, more just acquittance through business. I have a really good reputation for delivering results, so I know I don't want to mess that up. So going to have to cut it to an end and keep everyone happy.

You got any examples bro. We have contracts but they may need re-modifying .. well i don't think, i know now, after this client, I am not going down this road again, although it's going to be hard for someone to beat this guy..
