Now that I have your attention I would like to share this success story with you in hopes that I can somehow inspire you to never give up in whatever you do online or offline. Tyler Perry is one of the richest movie producers out there today. He was once listed in Forbes magazine on the top 10 list of richest and most powerful Hollywood celebrities. There have been a lot of people who just plain out laugh because they think his movies are a waste of time. The bottom line is the guy makes millions every year from one movie and stage play to the next.
If you look at his story he didn't get to his millionaire status overnight. He used to be homeless. His family even lost all hope in him and told him to get a real job like everyone else in the world but this man was a man on a mission so he refused to listen and let anyone drag him down. One day (he tells this story himself many times) he walked by a store where they had a window displaying a TV where Oprah was on her show talking and she said something very powerful that inspired him. He went from the broke homeless man that he was and got a job and began working saving all his money until he could afford to put together his first stage play.
It went on like this for many years and he tells people his plays were often time empty because no one knew who he was and he had poor promotion... that is until one day he got noticed through one of his stage plays and was offered to do his first movie. After his first Madea movie he was able to build a name for himself and make many more movies and build his audience as well. When Madea goes to Jail was released a few years ago in theaters I remember reading so many articles from movie critics calling him a joke and saying the movie would suck. The movie ended up being sold out and making it to the number 1 spot at the box office for 2 weeks in a row despite what these Hollywood people said. He also credits a lot of his sales and money and successes from his online sales where he sells his TV shows and movies online through his website.
Myself personally I am not rich. I am just a broke college student making his way in life trying to study what I can to get myself going with internet marketing. I am not looking to be the next big Tyler Perry, Brad Pitt, or even Angelina Jolie. Yes while it would be nice to be as big as all of them that is not the intent of my post. The intent here is to show you that if you want something bad enough no matter who stands in your way and tries to knock you down or say you will fail that just gives you a million more reasons to stand up and show them that you can do it.
If Tyler Perry can go from broke homeless man status to one of the richest celebrities and movie producers alive status then I have no doubt that you can achieve your goals in life no matter what the goal is. The goal is to never give up. The goal here is to keep on going no matter how many times you get knocked down on the way to your destination. Just keep on walking. I may not be rich and I may not be famous but I know where I am headed in my life and if I get knocked down 4 times in the process then I will stand up 5 and you should too. Someday I will look back at all this and think wow I used to be new to this and now I can say my hard work has paid off and I hope you can say the same too if you have not already. I am working to learn as much about internet marketing as I can so I can start applying what I learn. That is my main goal right now. Cheers to you all and good luck on your journeys
