you were going to add an option to import articles from text files. Where can i find it?

Sorry it could not be added. The normal text file importing is giving problems when being added to the scraper section like normal articles. The title field cannot be empty and not all files will have first line as title. Could you please contact support and send them few sample text files which you need to be imported? We can see them and code it accordingly.

They are just normal articles stored in the .txt file with file name as the title.

I bought WAC more than a year ago - it was buggy back then and crashed often.
Fast forward to today:
I've decided to give WAC another go since I'd assume they've fixed the bugs during the year that has passed - therefore I've renewed my subscription.

And what do I get?
CRASH upon CRASH upon CRASH!

I tried creating an Ultimate Demon project - crashed.
So I tried again - crashed.
It doesn't matter what I do it keeps on crashing when trying to create an UD project.

Then I tried scraping an article with the "Text Article" setting - Nope can't do that (something about a null reference).

To me WAC seems even buggier now than when I used it a year back. And I've just upgraded to version 3.4 which should have fixed lots of "crashing issues".

All I can say that this is a horrible piece of software - whoever coded this have never heard of catching exceptions as they openly crash the program constantly. I cannot believe such a poorly coded tool has reached this degree of popularity.

I'm gonna stick to a certain other content generation instead - while it may not have as many features it does what it promises and hardly ever crashes (not gonna name it since it is a competitor).

If you cannot work with a simple software like WAC then i don't believe what you are doing in SEO frankly. I could copy-paste hundreds of feedbacks for 3.4 alone but nvm looks like a competitor needs some rage service :)

Hey, really nice software but i can`t update it from 3.1 to 3.4. First of all when i start the program it gives "input string was not in a correct format" but i still can use it. But it won`t update. Even if i close and rund the updater separately it just won`t update. Any solution?

Cheers

You must be using foreign language OS. It actually tries to read your file version and then update it. I only have access to english OS so could not code that part. Just download this file :

http://wickedarticlecreator.com/download/update.zip

Now extract it in your WAC folder and run it. It will work.

I myself don't. I usually build guest posts or blog posts (read this thread about tiered linking : http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/black-hat-seo/664838-you-still-playing-tier-1-tier-2-like-kids-read.html )

But yes it's a fact that the paid upgrade creates much better content and ranks websites faster than tier 2 mode. The content makes more sense so it helps.

The paid upgrade?

The paid upgrade?

There is a paid upgrade in WAC for $59 one time fee. It enables a tier 1 content builder module and many other features. It is that module which helps create tier 1 quality content for link building tools.

What if I am doing an Amazon review site and it is a specific item with model number? If it can't scrape an article about that item exactly then is WAC still useful?

Try and go one step above into the niche. Like if your item is "xyz shaver" then you get content on :

1) grooming for both men and women
2) beauty tips
3) hair styles etc. etc.

or on keywords in these niches.

See this way you always stay relevant to your niche and will never face content shortage.

I see, thanks. But I thought my Tier 1's had to be ranked in top 100 for my target keyword?

What subscription? It's a onetime fee. did you update the thing? Instead of raging, post a screenshot, or a video of what you're doing. This helps James immensely because he can see what's going on. Should be standard practice for anyone that wants software support in my opinion.

Ahh you were asking about that thread. I am sorry i was confused. By that concept WAC is used on tier 2 and not tier 1. Some users do use WAC content directly on site but i don't. I myself use original content on guest posts etc. on site. It is all about staying safe.. Users who want to build spam to their site use WAC directly while others generate content.

Could you not just sprinkle the keywords in manually?

Not a good practice - I guess random keywords among content is also known as keyword stuffing (not completely but still). I mean you can try on a test video or something like that. If it works then good. Otherwise let it go.
