Is Google's Keyword Planner that bad?

My keyword has 4,4 k searches per month, exact searches.

My site is ranked 1. checked from different pcs, vps, different browsers, phone, tablet, proxies, cleared history, used new FF profile, etc.

I get less than 10 views per day to my locked content. Am I doing something wrong? Is Keyword Planner that misleading? I`ve searched on other forums and this one, but I couldn't find anything that could help me.

Instead of checking from all different pc's and devices, you can try to use this site: smallseotools you can type in your site, the location you want your ranking data and then your keywords at the bottom.

How about your landing page before they unlock your content - how many views?

Have you compared your meta description to your competition? This can have a strong impact on whether they click yours against competition.

Also, you basically cannot trust those figures. What you should do instead before ranking is an adwords test. Simply make an adwords campaign for your keyword and make sure that your ad is bad, but still gets approved. You don't want any clicks. Let it run for maybe 2-3 days and see how many impressions you get. Of course, you also need to make sure that you're on the first page, so bid high enough.

A good indication is also if you examine the search volume history.... but nothing compares to the accuracy of an adwords test.
