In the last month I`ve been changing from idea to idea, from niche to niche and so on. And now I came to the idea of making a teen helping site. We all know how teens these days lack the day to day knowledge. They don`t know how to talk to a girl anymore, they don`t know how to improve themselves...Hell, kids these days even google:"How to kiss" .... I`m interested in writing quality content, but also content that might get at least 5000 visitors per article. I`ve thought of articles like : Difference between a gentleman and a slave... Does he love you without sex? ... She told me she will kill herself if we brake up ... and so on . Many of you might think these articles might be kinda stupid, but I think I could change the thinking of one or two teens and make another 5000 read about it . So, what do you think about my idea. Do you think it could work? Also, do you have articles ideas on which I can write about? Also, monetization methods other than addsense? :-?I don`t plan to sell anything, yet . And I don`t see any other money making methods besides addsense. Have a good day, and thanks for reading the post, cheers!

Have you searched for those topics? Several pop sites are exploiting this niche, some are more subtle than others, but basically most pop teen sites exploit the fact that teens have no idea what they're doing.

When you target teens, there is only few ways to monetise, because teens dont have CC and they dont make buying decisions.

Excellent Idea It will definitely work though there are already many teen sites but if you have good social strategy you can be successful in very short period of time

You should follow through with your idea. Especially because of fact that the target demographic that's leaving facebook is the teen demographic.

So if your site explodes, you might be the next company facebook wants to buy.

Timing is everything.

Facebook dont buy "how to kiss a girl in school" kinda teen guide sites
they buy users , users info and tech

Once he generates a big enough user base from his site and gets legit with his operations, someone can entertain the offer to buy him out at some point.

Tumblr was just a simple micro-blogging site in 2007. And today, Yahoo buys Tumblr for $1.1 billion. A large part of their demographics is the younger audience.

Same thing with WhatsApp. Its a messaging service that Facebook paid a whooping $19 billion for and a majority of their demographics is in their teens.

In fact, here's a little blast from the past. Its the first forum posts from Jan Koum in 2009, when WhatsApp was a free iphone app for travelers:

No matter the medium you choose, whether blogging, messaging, etc. If you can get the audience and massive traffic, someone will pay attention to you.

And if don't have ambitions to be bought out, you can always plug email and zip submit offers and bank off that as well.

Small steps leads to big things down the road.

Yes, and let's not forget they didn;t expect it to become what it is now. Let;s take a look at their first dayshere http://web.archive.org/web/20070212094404/http://www.tumblr.com/faqs Do you see that their FAQ is still not created.

It was a 5 page site that no one expected to become what it is today
