I've seen a few posts about this here. Nice to see them getting some mainstream love for being douches!

They've always gotten this sort of negative exposure, but nothing has really changed yet. They know people use it.

There was a site by a business owner with their pricing and results on it, and they were getting nothing out of Yelp. Promised lots of traffic, but only got like 20 max, each click costing something like $30.

Theres nothing they can do against yelp .. people still rely on it heavily for their decisions... they can only take it how it is.. pay or play..

Love this types of story. Yelp is so arrogant thinking that this type of practice will last. I applaud anyone who post these links to let everyone and anyone know about their shady practices. Give it some time and Yelp will be replaced by a better and more reputable review site. I am betting Google will eventually take over.
