That's pretty good turnaround for just a domain. If you applied the same niche finding skills and ALSO made some website with content then you could make a nice sum.

UPDATE!
I managed to sell my second domain today for $100. It was an advertising related domain. So far I am very pleased with flippa. Maybe is just because there is a much lower competition on flippa than sedo or godaddy. Flippa make you pay a $9 listing fee, so they keep away all those junk domains you find on sedo or godaddy.

Congrats man. Keep at it. I once picked up a a poker domain on tdnam i thought was pretty good for less than 15 bucks, and threw it up on Sedo. Totally forgot about it for almost a year, probably would of ended up expiring. One day I noticed an email from Sedo, someone put in a 4.5k bid on it. Accepted it, didn't believe it was real until they sent the money, but they did. Having a keen eye for good domains can make some bank for sure. Just how long you have to sit on them and pay reg fees sometimes sucks.

Its not really hard. The thing is to find good, brandable names. Maximum 2 words domains. And only .com
