And now, it is the opportunity for money maker. Since it will jumping back to $1k+

Google has one successful product: search. Without search, most their ad revenue disappears. Android is successful but it's basically Linux + Java, arguably not a google creation.

All other google products are half-assed failures. Wave is a failure, plus is a failure, google glass will be a massive failure(I'd punch anyone who used it in front of me), scroogle is a failure, they can kiss my ass if they think i'd use any self driving thing from them, and on and on and on....

Plus the spying scandals, the daily new revelations of new details on the spying....I just don't think Google can sustain value if they continue acting like this. Google is not the nice guy from the early 2000's, they've become a monopoly on the WWW, a negative force on the WWW, with Matt Cutts dictating content and rules for the WWW and it's just fucked up now, they're trying to control links and they're making a mess of the WWW.

All in all I would not buy GOOG - just my 2 cents.

I switched from Android to WP 8, ditched Gmail in favor of Outlook, went from Google Analytics to Yandex Metrica, read a bunch of bad reviews about Google Glass, I'm not satisfied with Google Search, and I dont use Google+.

All in all I trust Google products like never before (following Snowden's case), and will definitely buy their stock after the dirty split-trick.

I'm sure that the hype of Google being split is enough to get people buying the stock and increasing the stock price. But how do you know that it will go up to $1000? Doesn't this just mean that Google is now trading stock on two different stock tickers? Are you trying to say that the value of Google is going to double because they split into two different stickers?

Not that I know a lot about the stock market or anything, but it just doesn't make sense to me. Say if you had a company with a trillion dollars in stock, and then divided that into half totaling 500 billion dollars each. In total it's still 1 trillion isn't it? You can't expect the stock to go up to a trillion each valuing the company at 2 trillion just because they split.

Just a big hype IMO.

Well look at the stock, it's now down to $545.25. Since this post has been made it has been continuously declining.

From what I understand when the stock split, it was priced at $578.55 per share. The highest it made it up to is $579.72 per share.

I wouldn't take the OP's advice to invest on this one as the stocks will not be going up to $1000 anytime soon.
