I thought a few of you might like this.

I already have my own product line which does extremely well for me roughly 3-4k a month....

However, my main job a few years ago was as a Realtor, I got kind of burned out on it...So after watching one of Howies videos on Real Estate Leads and Video...

I decided to give it a quick stab....I put my videos together with Camtasia and a picture of the house along with details....2 videos and about 20 minutes later I was done.

I threw them up on craigslist and within 1 hour I got a call from a dude wanting to buy property...He had just bought 100 homes in the neighboring town....

That same week I sold him 1 home and will make $1,000. The next week I sold him another that I will make $1300 on....

We have 5 others offers out right now, he will probably be worth close to $50k this year for my business...Since he's approved for over $1M

In total I have spent 5 hours with him and 30 mins on my marketing...

One more way to make money in these "Hard times"....If the hard times are this good, I can't wait till things improve.

You can see a copy of the videos on my blog at TheForeclosuresMan.com if you were wondering what they looked like.

Here's probably a stupid question - Do you have to have a realtor's license to do this?
I've not seen the video you've mentioned.

Is the little video on the right hand side of your site the example video?

awesome. i was just talkin to a buddy of mine about some online stuff we are gonna do together. hes a broker/realtor and i was a realtor/loan officer. great post man. much success to you and i may just have to sign up and promote your rescue system. cool stuff

your pitch page is pulling all the heart strings,

with "men having to leave their big screen TV's behind"

and the "family dog left behind and tied to a tree"

:)

Damn, that's a nice amount of money for so little work.

But, where do you get the foreclosure listings? I've been looking online for a while and most houses seem to be between 40000 - 80000.

This is for houses around my area, in Texas.

hes from the michigan area and those areas have been hit hard for a while. thats why his are lower

cool stuff man i like the videos how do you get the info on the homes
also what do you do middle man deals and make a cut?

thanks

Your just lucky I could'nt find a picture of a dog tied to a big screen with a crushed doll underneath....

I just finished that product last week....

Sadly, I got that idea after watching a dateline story on foreclosure in Sacramento and they say it happens all the time...Myself, i'd strap the damn thing to the car.

Yes, you are required to have a Realtor license to represent anybody else's real estate, including phone when representing, phone calls as well -This is because you are BROKERING. The only time you don't need a license is if you have any ownership in the property, let that be 1 dollar or 100 thousand dollars.

$73K house in 2004 only for $8900?? Is that really happening and that bad in US?

Yeah I would be interested of any sites to look on for personal purchase. Any tips? Florida is getting back down finally but would love to find a great deal.

Yeah our market is a complete disaster...I just sold another one this week that sold for 105,000 in 2004.....We paid 22k....

Scarier yet, is that it rents for $1,000/month....That's a pretty handsome cash flow....

Holy Crap! Why doesnt the renter just buy it? That's insane having to pay 1k a month for a 22k house. You can pay it off in 22 months. (I know taxes, etc but still)

Hey Eric, nice blog and great to see you are cashing in. Here is Ontario we are not anywhere near that bad but I did get some ideas with your blog. Keep up the good work!

just curious about this guys must be some kind buy agent for the big company, or have a deep pocket to buy some many properties.

I think you should be able to make more than 1k for each house though. Bump a few thousand on the top of the house price is rather trival considering the house cost hundreds of thousands.
