Hi guys,

News aggregations such as alltop.com - is it still a good way to monetize a website do you think?

(given, of course, that you will choose a decent niche)

I like your attitude

With some long-term visitors, yes. With SEO, not.

anything which provide quality the the visitor or value to the visitor then it will surely work. Just don't think about duplicate stuff. If it's valuable and you're providing something valuable then they will browse your website and bring in more visitors too.

Alltop provides best articles around the internet without thinking about google's organic traffic which is working for them.

Yep, I was thinking for Twitter to generate traffic.

I won't get much love from Google for sure because I'll be a link aggregator, no unique content.

yeap, nowdays google is going crazy and can't think to get traffic from organic. It's risky + time consuming!

Google didn't just start going crazy they always have been strict. And for good reason.

There advertisers are owed the best ads for great sites. Chump projects like blogspots are pathetic and get taken out.

Hey guys, quick question relating to this topic.

What about taking the same picture of the original site related to the article. ( as long you are referring where all this is taken will you still be penalized? )
