We make sure they're not spammed to death and the sites are still indexed. The content on the blogs is always from the same niche, but the backlinks we can't guarantee. We personally prefer to provide a better domain link profile than a niche relevant domain - people still reaping benefits from SAPE/chinese networks yet their onpage seo/backlinks are completely marred. We try our very best to avoid this.

I had an awesome question today, I just wanted to post my response to it here; if you really want to reap benefits from any PBN guys that you own, you should really invest in a bot privacy plugin - I thought this was a given but some people are not aware - there are many available so choose the one that suits your budget. That's probably the best way to stop competitors from reporting your PBN which is usually what gets a PBN banned.
