How big of a risk would it be for me to for example..create a shirt that has the words "Porche Carrera" on it and target people who own that car? If Porche did see it what would they likely do? Any ways around it?

Are you planning to use that in your Ad copy? It will go under review. (Reason : trademarked term). Next, you can ask for exception. They will manually review your website. If it looks like a legit shop that is only offering T-shirts. There are good chances they might allow you to run ads.

I had a campaign on Teespring with a design some girl made, (I never knew, I found the design somewhere on the internet, and then someone had removed the copyright/watermark of the image at the end, but how was I to know lol)... and then she reported me on Teespring, and they made me pay dollar or two I think, for every sold image.

So I'd highly suggest you to do some good research, ask some lawyers, or even maybe contact the company themselves, just to have a clear head.

Thanks. I think I'm done with Teespring anyway, unless I capitalize on some trend later. I haven't had any luck at all selling shirts.

Porsche and Ferrari will close it down fast, especially if you sell on a marketplace

Formally it's illegal, but everyone and their sister does it in sweatshops around the world. As long as you don't tell adwords you're the one creating the shirts, then you're just selling them like in every chinatown around the world.

Why spend your time on money promoting a shirt that you could have taken down by teespring with a C&D letter? Pick a different niche that isn't copyrighted and go for it.

You might be OK as you spelt it wrong : Porsche Carrera

Hope they haven't started printing them lol

Not sure how fast they would close it down to be honest. These companies mind you, probably do have the funds and resources to run all kinds of software that call the internet for possible copyright infringement. With that said if you can sell enough to not raise a red flag (unlikely) you can probably go in and go out without much problem.

I think you will make people laugh. Hard to sell with a typo. But even when you correct it, Porsche owners are not the kind of people who buy t-shirts.

thats what i was thinking.. porsche people are probably not going to buy a 20 buck tee...
