I've been doing hours upon hours of research, and I've learned a lot. I haven't had too much success though.

I was wondering if there are some "quick" ways to get started. Like...more so...entry level.

It is. But it also happens to be a community of people who are actually able to think for themselves, and at the very least, know how to find information for themselves. If you want to be told what to do, Mcdonalds IS the quickest way to get started.

1)Just pick up one of the thread/scam/product/technique and act upon it.
2)If don't work repeat step 1 until you find something that works for you.

On a serious note, if you're interested in internet marketing then this is the right place, and there is no quick way to learn it in my opinion. Just browse the forum like everyone else, there are plenty of guides and make money methods here, just take your time to read them and when you're ready take action.

I probably should have said more in my OP...lol. Running on little sleep and minimal caffeine. Thanks for actually helping. And thanks for the link. I figured there was no "quick" way to get into IE. I guess I'm looking for a more...beginner route you could say.
