I understand that PM refers to a private message it's just the " not allowed to enter PM words in your signature" warning i'm having issues with

You are not allowed to ask people to PM you in your signature

You may post 2-3 affiliate links or 1 banner (728x90 pixels max) in your signature. Do not use a font size larger than 2, crazy fonts/colors, sound clips, excessive smileys, or anything else annoying. Including calls to action such as "PM me"

This: "PM For Details!"... I remember that I read somwhere you cannot add call to actions in your sig such as PM me etc... but a lot of people are doing it. So I guess there is no problems in doing that. It would be more better if you contact a mod for this.

Its entirely possible that I may have made my signature in error, its not some grotesque banner ad, if i need to change it? I'll happily do so, but idle threats from a board veteran aren't getting much play.

Completely understand, but I was under the same impresson that you were, whether its "pm me" or contact me via skype they are 2 sides of the same coin. My sig isn't even linked to a website.

I completely understand that and have edited my signature to reflect that, i was never fishing for clients but the fact that I can freely say "SKYPE ME AT JERREYODOGG.666" and not invite people to PM me if they're interested as a client is far beyond ridiciulous.
It was my fault but a simple "hey buddy take that call to action out of your sig" would have certainly sufficed, " dont want you to get infrasture
i am still in confused and i advise you to read rules of the forum" is far past "over the top"

If people are interested in your signature ad, click url or "PM me" words are the same call to action!
I think that it is only a form of gelous from masush300 because he is a bot coder too and because he is not a paying user he dont show the same ad in his signature

Yeah I think that guy is being a little brash. If those signature rules are really set in stone, then many members' signatures aren't compliant. Best to get a mod to take a look at things.

Actually the individual was trying to be helpful to the OP.
When he said "infrasture", I am sure he meant "infraction"
which is in fact, true. And as I said above, the OP needs
to remove the "Contact Me" words from his signature
or I will have to give him an infraction for using a
Call to Action in his signature. Last Warning . . . .
