Wordpress Dashboard Chat Plugin?

Is anyone aware of a wordpress dashboard chat/messaging plugin where I can communicate with authors/editors who have access to the control panel? I've searched and couldn't find anything. The closest was a private messaging system and a little twitter feed but both are severaly outdated; 2+ years old.
Even a little chatbox in the admin panel would be superb....
or any other easy solutions to communicate with everyone COLLECTIVELY; not individually.
