i have been searching the cb marketplace for a while now and i have no ideas what to promote.
any suggestions on the products that i should promote? i was thinking about venus factor but that has way too may competition.

thanks

don't think too much, pick good products and start promote them.

VF is a good IMO (cuz i'm only promoting products in health niche... and yes, VF making me decent money although not much).

if you "fear" the high SEO competition, then try different routes like creating FB page, etc.

best of luck

I heard that its better to pick a niche that you have a knowledge with and or interested with it.
Correct me if I'm wrong Gurus...

You can promote anything and make money from it. I think now is everything depending less and less on product. Yes it is easier to sell quality product, but if you are hell out of promoter, you can sell shit and make money.Try to find niche about you know a lot it will be easier :)

Anything in the health category. People have problems and they need something to fix it

What's your specialty? You got any sites? Conversion rate is everything, if you don't have a related site, forget trying to promote unrelated products. Choose something you can bring traffic to, specially if you already have a functional website for it.

venus factor is good, but it's hard for you now to fight with the other with that product, when a lot of bunche AM jump to that product for a long time

The best product would always be the one:

1) You have chosen according to your accessible content pages/your ability to produce relevant content to that product

2) You have tested with actual real and relevant customer clicks to produce the highest conversions

3) You have found to be the most profitable for you

4) Will maintain your online reputation as a respected affiliate/list owner who chooses/recommends products not by their figures alone but by their quality and long term benefits to the relevant customer.

how do you promote cb products?

Asking such questions is gonna do no good to you because it's better off you start searching for a hungry Market and do proper research about what the people want and stuff, there ate tonnes of products for you to promote and with so many affiliate programs in the Market. Also some good quality products do have less competition that is what you gotta find and start ranking your properties before someone else comes and spoils the broth...

venus factor converted for me very well too. but its hard to beat the competition now. I would appreciate if someone suggested a good alternative source of paid traffic apart from bing and google.

Don't promote products with an exit-pop (which is most of them)

I honestly think you should promote a product that you are comfortable with working long hours at a time on. So in some way, you have to believe in the product or rather it's marketing capabilities. Especially if you are new or getting start and don't have a lot of experience. If you just go after the money and have no actual interest, and are also getting started, you'll eventually fail, since you won't be committed to it as you could be, with something you have an interest in.

Once you become successful in something, then move on to harder and harder products to sell, since they'll not only have a higher barrier to entry for competitors, but also have a bigger cash reward. I'm not a big fan of promoting a product at the beginning of your career that you have no interest in, since after 2-4 weeks of no sales, most people will give up.

But regardless of what you are selling, The drive behind you is what matters. For example, it's impossible to promote a product for 18 hours straight for 90 days straight WITHOUT becoming successful. Problem is most people don't have enough drive to do 18 hours for one day, let alone 90 days straight.

If you know absolutely nothing about a product, or how to promote it, by the 90th day, you'll be making sales due to all the past failures from the previous 89 days. It's really about grinding more than anything. Product is meaningless. And when I mean 18 hours a day, that doesn't mean goofing off on forums or on facebook, I mean real hard work promoting it.

Don't promote products with an exit-pop (which is most of them)

Why exactly?

Responsible vendors will allow you to redirect your traffic to a landing page without the exit popup if your PPC network won't allow that.

Mike.

I'd also like to hear why you caution against promoting pages with exit-popups? Is it only because some PPC networks disallow this? In this case, contact the vendor - most will be more than happy to providing a landing page without the exit script.
Remember that exit popups are used because they DO increase conversions. This is beneficial to you as an affiliate too!

We'll, Alexa? Care to explain why are you so against
popups after all the arguments given here?

Mike.
