Do you need to have proxies to use scrapebox or GSA SER?

Will I be limited without having a bunch of proxies? I have a dynamic IP so I know I can easily just change my IP whenever I want by unplugging my router, but I'm not sure if this is enough.

If I really do need proxies instead of using my dynamic IP, is it a bad idea for me to use free proxies?

You can use free proxies, but that depends on what you are doing and how good you want the results to be.

If you want to make sure you have the best chances to make a post for example, you will need private proxies.

Even if you have dynamic IP you won't be able to scrape for more than a few minutes...

If you're business plan is not producing enough to cover the costs of 10-20 private proxies, you should make a bigger plan for your income.

Can you tell the specs?

They're recommended if your lists are too big or if your comment looks like a spam to be on the safe side otherwise your IPs might get banned or your ISP may have a problem with you.

137 threads is not a lot.

You wont get very many backlinks running it at that speed.

And your IP will be blocked from Google in no time. The program will still look like its running, but it wont be working properly.

You really do need proxies when using both of those programs.

Dont be cheap and spend $10 or $20 on some proxies.

I know 137 threads is very low, but I'm happy with +200 LpM.

P.S. Google wont ban my IP because I'm not scraping new targets, I'm just posting.

Thats true.....if you don't scrape, your IP is safe from Google banning it since you are not searching.

But based on the OP's question about proxies, more then likely he doesn't already have a list and will need to scrape.

If you are new to GSA and don't have a list, you will need to scrape new targets, and for that you will 100% need proxies for.

As for scrapebox, I would recommend proxies for that always.

Public proxies tend to be too unreliable. I would just pay the extra expense for private proxies.

You do not absolutely have to have proxies to run either Scrapebox or GSA.

If you run ScrapeBox without proxies, your IP will be banned by Google. Google allows in the neighborhood of 600 - 800 queries per hour.

ScrapeBox does have a proxy harvester, but those proxies are beat to death. You are better off with a subscribed proxy list.

GSA has a proxy harvester tester that is adequate for scraping. However when posting it fails in the same way that your IP address fails: The will end up on a few Spam lists like StopBot, Stop Forum Spam, Akismet, etc.. If the site uses anti spam measures that tie into a few spam recorders, then the post may not be made.

Okey, I am planning to get some private proxies (10) and some shared proxies, I will consider to cancel my xbox subscription: D, to save some money.

I will also first watch couple of GSA tutorials and read allot from here for the best settings, and the when I am confident enough I will use the trial version and purchase the proxies. I want mainly to build backlinks. Need also a good indexing service, but these are very expensive, the costs per month will be around =+40 dollar. For now my website has 2 backlinks, and I am not ranking in the top 100 for my keyword..

If you want to use it 24/7 then using proxies would be useful. I use it on a VPS through 20 private proxies, considering also my time's value.

Based on above 2 things we can answer.

If you want to check PR of 100 - 500 websites than no need to try proxies but if this volume multiplied by 100 than yes you need proxies.

I do not advice to use your own IP to scrap.

I want to primary focus on two keywords, these keywords combined have 10k search volume per month, google keyword planner shows that the competition is low. However, when I type in the keyword in Google, it comes like this:

Keyword 1: +1.000.000.000 searches (this keyword is in my domainname)
Keyword 2: +90.000.000 searches

keyword 1 in brackets: +1.200.000 searches (this keyword is in my domainname)
keyword 2 in brackets: +500.000 searches

The competitors are though, some of them have + 1,8 million backlinks most of them do-follow and their website is aged (1 to 5 years old, the pr score is between 1 to 6).

I am reading on this forum that ranking up is depending on how much quality banklinks you have (do-follow) and how well written the content is and the on-page SEO optimization. GSA-ser would be the tool to make good backlinks (tier 1,2 and 3)

Currently I have a facebook page that has more than 2k likes (done it with addmefast, allot of fake profiles). This make it more legit.

Is it possible to rank on page 3/2 or 1 with GSA-ser, I am not going to make backlinks 24/7, because of the age of my domain it would be to suspicious. How much time will it take to rank these keywords? I have red somewhere on this forum that I need also SB to scrape target lists?
