Can I boot Windows on the Mac?

Any advice shoot my way as i just bought a windows programe...and cant boot on my mac....

Most software come in windows and Mac versions. Can we ask what software did you purchase?

Alternatively, Boot Camp allows you to install windows OS on your Mac.

Go to the pirate bay, download VMWare fusion and a Windows .iso

free and fast

OR,

Download a windows .iso - put it on a DVD (or bootable USB) and use Bootcamp (which comes for free with mac osx)

1.) Bootcamp - You either boot MacOS X or Windows, best option if you need the full power
2.) VirtualBox its free and you have a Virtual Computer in your computer with Windows (torrent it) you can drag & drop etc. basically everything that isn't gaming and/or video editing
3.) Wine - Hackish, needs less ressources than VirtualBox

I'm personally a Linux user, but I use VirtualBox every day to run Dragon Natural Speaking, Cute Rank etc.

Agree with Vesania, parallels is the best native mac program that allows you to run windows on your macbook and gives you access to operate two operating systems.
