How to get related keywords (with mistakes)

You need to research a lot to find such typo using google keyword planner. I do it sometimes and do find weird typos with good search volumes. I think this is the only tool where you can find such typos.

Your best bet is to use something like this: http://tools.seobook.com/spelling/keywords-typos.cgi
and then run it through keyword planner. What you have to consider though is the algorithm to generate typos is really simple, so for almost all the results you'll get, on an actual search Google will catch it and show the results for "hosting" by default with the option to search for the typo if that's what you really meant.
There are exceptions, but they're usually typos that have a different meaning, which makes them pretty hard to compete in as a typo. Not only that, but most of the traffic won't be actual typos so if you do rank you're not looking at many clicks.

Actually kind of an interesting example because G doesn't recognize this as a typo but a lot of hosting companies are bidding on it. I'd be really curious to see some CTR and conversion data. This is probably the kind of gem you're looking for but you'd need to uncover A LOT for them to be worth your time.
Also interesting, "web hostig" is a recognized typo and goes direct to "web hosting" as an illustration of how sophisticated this whole thing is.
I don't know what you're trying to do, but if it was worth my time I could easily write a script to gen typos, check traffic, then check to see which ones have real SERPs like "hostig". I just don't see it being worth it unless you're going all typo spread across a lot of different topics.

Do typos still work these days? Doesn't google usually autocorrect them and show the results for the correct keyword?

That's right, if you want to rank in Google, you can say goodbye to typos. The other search engines, I really don't know.
