Hello there folks!
I had posted a thread earlier about my "first" PPV profit. It felt awesome as I dunno why but I always felt that PPV is junk traffic that can't convert shit. Changed my mind! I also had another media buying journey that didn't go so well at first, but I transformed the display traffic to PPV but thought I'd open a new thread since it's no longer media buys.
Achievements so far:
- Started testing PPV with direct linking offers above $5, short form submits.
- Currently with LeadImpact.
- Total spent (till this very moment) $162, total made $145 (over 4 days). $17 loss till now.
To be done:
- Optimization (LOTS OF IT: removing non-converting targets, adding more targets when traffic drops, split test more offers)
- If the above does not achieve stable profitability, I'll look into landing pages.
- Ultimate goal is to reach and maintain $100 profit daily for two consecutive weeks by optimizing current campaign like crazy till it reaches "stable" profitability then launch more campaigns.
- It's important to note that I've wasted about $40 at LeadImpact at on a different campaign so technically, I'm now at a profit not a loss since the above figure includes that $40. There's still so much to do but I'm very happy for one thing: I'm getting conversions. Which means it's a tracking and optimization game now.
Why PPV?
- Action-packed (yes, I really like "fast-paced traffic")
- Hence fast results (relatively, and it could also mean fast pocket emptying
)
- Different Risk Type: There are no slaps, account bans and all since this is whitehat, the risk however is condensed with the money. You stand to lose a hell lot of money very very easily.
- Scalable: PPV is quite scalable because the traffic is there, you just need to match it up with something that converts and you're golden.
I'll be posting my stats and what I do (will try to keep it on a daily basis). Last time with media buys I wasn't enjoying myself that much and was often very confused. I'm a lot more focused now and have a much clearer action plan for PPV.
Appreciate everyone's support, ask questions if you want I'll try to answer to the best of my knowledge
