Where Can I Find Facebook groups?

I'm having a really hard time finding Facebook groups. I would figure it would be easy just searching through their actual search function on the site, but nearly all the pages are either under 300 users, or a few thousand at the most. Oddly too, it's full of groups from all sorts of different languages even though I might just be searching "news".

Has anyone else had this problem and/or know how to successfully find them? I was not able to find much on Google either. The results I found on Google were either linking to Facebook groups with 404, or they seemed to be mistaking groups with "pages", which I don't think will help me.

search for "add me" then click show groups.

WOW! Thanks a lot. That really works. There's a ton of large groups on there.

If you don't mind me asking, is there no way of finding targeted groups that have a lot of users? It's strange how "add me" groups have so many users lol

You want to hook yourself up with a version of SLF (Social Lead freak) Choose your keyword to search then pulls up all the groups and the numbers in each and you can export the files
