Can you rely on ClickBank?

If the money is showing in your clickbank account and everything you are doing is above board then you can absolutely rely on clickbank. They pay like clock work. I was like you and had to wait ages for the first few cheques but they always come. Now I get paid weekly by bank transfer and the cash flow is sorted.

Watch out for refunds on clickbank, make sure you monitor your campaigns well.

Um, the thing you've got to be careful as a holder of a new Clickbank account is that they require five different types of payments from customers - not including Paypal - before they issue you your first check. Usually if you're making a fair amount of sales you'll be okay but every once in a while you can hit a string of bad luck (or be using CLickbank during one of their many horrible fluctuation periods when commissions aren't being tracked properly at ALL.) So unfortunately you can't absolutely 100% count on stuff working correctly for you if you're in a tight margin with profit vs. payments using Adwords.

I recommend finding a product powered by Rapid Action Profits, the script that allows product publishers to instantly pay commissions out via Paypal. There are many good products out there. You usually get paid on every other sale. But at least you get paid instantly via Paypal. This will put some cash in your pocket to pad you out if you're waiting to see how your Clickbank promotions turn out.

Then again, I dont' advise that you rely upon Clickbank for anything if you can help it - their system has been royally screwing over a lot of affliates since late October and they don't seem to be able to fix the problems they're having.

Everything is above board, my sales copy might tell a few porkies regarding my results from said product, but I'd like to see anyone prove it. Only traffic source is AdWords and that's a legit account under my company/etc. I've not knowingly done anything blackhat, anyway.

Regarding ClickBank, transactions are showing in account fine. Regarding shaving/etc, I use a php redirect script and log clicks in a database, and my figures match those shown in ClickBank Analytics perfectly (CB actually show four more clicks than I hold!). Obviously I can't track actual sales, but the percentages look fine and, if anything, higher than I expected.

I'm watching my AdWords and ClickBank stats like a hawk - I'm still surprised it's selling, lol. First digital product

I got paid with no dramas, and then they switched me across to bank deposit very smoothly. Makes me want to do more with them.

They pay on time but I don't trust them at all. I've had several CB campaigns that the #'s made absolutely no sense at all (compared to previous campaigns). And the 60 day refund policy is just way to long, especialy with the economy tanking. It's too easy for customers to get their product/info. and simply return it after they have what they want.

It's their tracking. What they are guilty of is not fixing it and being condescending when asked about it. The merchants are the ones getting the money from uncredited sales.

I am just thinking here why not spread all the earnings over multiple accounts. So instead of having a massive income in one account have a dozen of them that evenly spread your sales.

Shouldn't give them any temptations in this case.

Spreading it out in multiple accounts won't work either. They know that affiliates have been doing this...

It's not hard for them to track each account to you. I mean you have to use the same tax information and address you want your checks mailed to.

I think everybodys tryed multiple accounts. It would be great if all the good products whent to paydotcom, but even then you still got PayPal to worry about.
