So my lens was getting 500 hits a week, number one in yahoo, making me $100 a month suddenly has NO traffic stats and NO sales. WTF?

i ran through an article stating that g00gle is indexing daily with their r0b0ts, so these days bl0g,website or lens owners must update frequently it seems.

so try to update your lens at-least three days once.

What I like to do is go link heavy as hell in the beginning and middle of the lens...Put the garbage like Youtube, Amazon, and guestbook shit -- Then at the bottom of the lens throw in a couple of articles based on the keywords from EZA.

Then pay attention to how many clicks you are losing to those articles if you decide to keep the original authors resource box in-tact

Doing it this way you can keep your lens updated in about 1 minute a couple times a week. After you get a fair amount of content on it, you can just throw a couple links at it every now and then and you should be good to go.

What I like to do is get someone from Odesk that costs me about $1.50 an hour to do some bookmarking for me once a week or blog commenting. It usually costs me no more than $10 and it keeps some fresh juice going to my lenses and other sites. The Search engines seem to dig it.

You can get people do do this kind of goofy shit for like $1.11 an hour sometimes...Just make a video showing them exactly how to do it and then turn them loose. When you set the job up set a max amount of hours of like 4 hours or something like that.

Then give them a checklist of what you want done but priortitize it with the most important stuff and then let them go nuts.

God I went to Nichebot, found a "jackpot" and did a lens myself... not the slightest response infact 2 viewers... god I am soo good at this..

Good tip on the VA's too... love the idea about making a video.. you clever F... that idea is brilliant... Need to look at that... Im being charged a fortune for hourly rates..

Anyway either nichebot is gayer than the village people or im shit at squid or both.
