Clyde softwares not working !!!!

how could managing licenses cost so much money? I manage over 5,000 daily license usage and i use hostgator for it - no problems. I mean sure having a VPS or dedi works good but why go for it knowing that future costs would become so much. A simple php call to server to check license works fine. also my users create over 1000-2000 GSA projects daily and each file is over 200 Kb and is stored on justhost servers (again personal hosting). I just make sure to delete them every month. I mean pay $9 per month on hosting or like $100 per year. Even if you sell 5 licenses you will have positive ROI :). Anyway you were one of the best and professional coders. Hope you rise again.

@mod - I think hango took over the product (he bought the business) so it's his own now.

Paying coders cost so much money, he's not a coder.

I feel I should jump in here.

I own several licenses of Wikibomber and SB Bomber, which I was using as part of my link building operations.

Not commenting on other products such SE Demon, SB Bomber 2, etc. as I do not own them.

Support from Clyde was always top notch, until all this latest mess. Clyde, sorry, you're going through financial shit. That sucks. I know you remember me, I helped you guys out a lot with feature suggestions, etc from Wiki Bomber, as I used that program extensively in my operations.

I always had your back man,

So as a way to please everyone here and part ways on good terms, would you please consider making and releasing all the version of your software as independent of the licensing servers for free to your current customer base?

I think that's the least that you might do man. Everyone in this game understands "lifetime updates" and "lifetime support" is not that at all. But when the tools you paid for stop working all together, that's a different story.

The guys that paid for these tools just want access to what they paid for. Forget the licensing servers, if you can, please release the stable portable versions for everyone to use. They can worry about their own lists and how many d0Follow n0follow links and all that are made.

I think that's fair enough.

PS. Glad to see you're still alive man :)

Best of luck in the future.

I totally agree with you .

SB bomber was a big part of my link building process .

@ clyde You will easily find 10-20 guys who will gladly pay $5 -$10 / month for your server cost and i am one of them .

Please get back your licensing servers . And don't worry about lists and d0Follow n0follow links , everything is good if the software is running.

Let me know if you need any kind of help from me

Best of luck in the future.

Very sorry to see this thread. i own SE Demon and sb bomber v2. Just bad time mate!! All will be fine!

I owned about 3 SB bomber licenses and 2 Wikibomber licenses. Clyde was always great with support.

I guess the issue everyone (and myself) had was that Clyde did not come out and tell us what he just did on this thread. If he came clean a few months ago, that would have been fine with most of us. Timely communication is key!

I'm not familiar with him. Did he take over wikibomber too? If so, I can pm him and ask if he can come to this thread. Maybe he can help in some way.

This is incorrect James. Hango only bought Ultimate Niche (or whatever it was called), and by the looks of it, that has been supported and updated continuously.

Looks like no portable versions then?

Ohh well.

Sometime we all just need to bite the bullet. I'm out some money, and so are a few others, but I'm not going to say Clyde is a scammer or anything like that. His business went down the drain. It's hard to make it in this space. Anybody remember Rockong and all their software?

Best luck to all.

I get the feeling Clyde is an honest man. There is no whiff of BS in his post. When he was active, I used to PM him, and always massively useful.

Good luck man, I'm sure you will do well in what ever you do.

One thing I am very glad is UNF was taken over by Hango, its not just alive, but updated very quickly and support is awesome. That software inspired my love of keyword research :)

Oh darn. Bye bye wikibomber (wiping tear from eye)

Ultimate Niche Finder is still being supported. If any of you have any questions, you can PM me or contact us via the Help Desk in my signature. Thanks.

All our tools comes with a 60-day refund policy. If you've requested your refund within 60-days of the date of purchase you should have been refunded. We've decided to shut down and stopped accepting orders sometime early December of last year and has not accepted any money since.

We went for bankruptcy because we simply ran out of money, we lost $20k developing SB Bomber v2 and SE Demon.

As of now we have a balance of -$400 in our merchant account. Source: http://i.imgur.com/T7PgQmA.png

The last money we had went to keeping our VPS server online so people can authenticate their licenses. This hardly covers 2-3 months of hosting so they finally canceled it.

Demand for both Social Bookmarking and Wiki backlinks simply disappeared, the number of sites for Social Bookmarking sites went down from 1k+ to just 200+, all Wikis became No-follow, thus lowering the already low demand for such links. All of this happened while the cost to maintain existing customers remain the same, keeping our overhead high. Our programmers were $20/hr and the software was using up $1,000/mo in code maintenance.

We apologize. We wished the business success but sometimes even hard work is not enough.

This is my last post here, out of respect, I won't be doing any business in this industry anymore.

One more thing, a lot of you guys have helped me with feature suggestions, beta testing and vouching for me when our tools were at its peak and I sincerely can't thank you enough. I hope we'll meet IRL under a different circumstances so that I can return the favor. All the best to you guys.

So long.

Clyde, I have never really used your tools but I have always heard good things about them.

If you are leaving the industry because of your current problems, would you be looking to sell the code and rights to the software?
Even better, why not release the source code, make it open source and let the community continue development?
Giving the rights to BHW would be great and it might be able to continue your great work.

Good luck in your future projects.

+1 for open source project. Although I'm not sure what will keep other people to just update it and sell it.

I don't think open source will realistically happen on BHW. First of all, I don't think there are enough devs here who are qualified enough and have the time to contribute to it. Secondly, I think many people would just take the code, repackage/rebrand and resell it elsewhere.

Not familiar with the software but have multiple vps/dedi's with available resources if that could solve the licensing issue.

clyde, I was so mad with the program gone, and was looking for you, to have a go at,
but know, reading all that went on, i am so sad for you,

I think you going bankrupt was a drastic move in general, All your
ideas for Internet marketing applications was worth a million or two to us Internet marketers.

I think personally you should of contacted all those that owned your software, and
explained, it was not financially working out, the one time license, and you need to know onwards charge a fee, this is better then running or going bankrupt.

Clyde i no you got rid of niche finder as well, and that so sad as your ideas like i say make Internet marketers thousands a day, your leaving us all , maybe it for the best as this has really depressed you ,

I just want to say your software was very cheap, and that was always kind of you,
Your applications where always fun to use, and always profitable to all Internet marketeers.

A big thank you and just sorry to see you go.

I was only chatting to xxxxx ,about you to a facebook owner, yesterday about you as a programmer and now only to find out it was your ideas, that produced all your software, with a 3rd party programmer.

I hope and really hope you get that job or interest and make your millions.

with the ideas you had and got developed, I see no reason you making your millions no matter where you go.

all the best from john and family good luck mate
