All you need is Good Web hosting and wordpress, you dont need software if you are a total newbie.
Understand the basics of driving traffic, social media and SEO as well as making a nice website with quality content which will convert people into $$$.
If you are really new at this you should start reading SEO blogs and journey threads
Dont buy software you dont need, I made that same mistake and it got me no where until I knew how to use it properly.

That is good advice but please do not buy into all the white hat bullshit like content marketing.http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...12-complete-guide-ranking-website-google.html this thread should help you a lot and also read the thread about seo in 2013 by the same member. Be prepared to test out things. Also in your position I would spend my money on content.
DO NOT buy any software before you have a good understanding of what is going on with SEO , search this forum for how to get good keywords to work with , learn some onpage techniques , content is very important, take everything step by step you'll be amazed of what you can do in two, three months from now if you keep learning (MAKE ACTIONS) this is the only way you gonna learn, do not waste your time with only reading , convert those lessons into actions....Good luck !

1) Get a full time job. It takes a long time to make money online. Some lucky people bank instantly. Most people have to work very long and hard before they see any real cash
2) Work on networking. Just like in the real world, it's not what you know its "who you know". Majority of your best ideas will come from inspirations that you get by working/conversing with other individuals. Consider meeting new people and having conversations with them as an integral part of your job. Because it is.
3) Be prepared to spend long hours. This is a marathon not a sprint. Most of your efforts will not work. So many ideas/things you try will just flat out fail. It's normal everyone goes through this.
4) Set realistic goals. Pretty self explanatory.
5) Contribute to whatever community you are part of (BHW or whatever). You never know who is watching. One of those guys may message you out of the blue and give you an idea that will make you a thousandaire.
6) Most methods here won't work as described you pretty much HAVE to put your own spin on them.
That's all I got.

Also, every day before you go to sleep, on a small paper write the task for the next day. For example
1. Write an article on .... topic.
2. Create one FB profile.
3. Create some 2.0 profiles
