Driving me crazy, HOW?

Hi there,

I'm browsing among the last flipppa sold websites and checking out of curiosity some of them, and I see shit websites with big revenue and I'm always asking myself, HOW?

Example: I can't post urls because I'm new to forum, but it's page 2 from just-sold section flipppa, the second one from top, with the logos, monthly revenue $2,600, Page rank 0, Monthly uniques: 8,000 ....

I mean no offence, their logo website is made in Paint and the Template probably nulled Wordpress theme from themeforest.

And I'm seeing this in comments:

My question is, how? Where's that traffic from? Why nobody is saying the real source? Can someone tell me more info? What's the secret?

It may be that the sellers would only disclose actual stuff to potential buyers via PM. If there are any going auctions, you may want to ask questions.

What's the point of your post? I already know that, that's the reason I post on this forum to find out what's really behind..

I have done extensive research on Flippa and produced a guest post for Matthew Woodward's site where I reviewed 3 big sellers on Flippa.

First off any site on Flippa that has to go to the trouble of trying to market the shit out of the site in the description sets off a warning bells.

Secondly any site that just shows revenue and no traffic proof pretty much puts me off the entire site. I mean you can ask the question and sometimes you can glean some info by PM'ing the seller, but generally its a big no-no for me.

This site in particular just looks like a fiverr.com reseller which are all over the place. Not sure as to the traffic source or it's legitimacy but you 'could' just throw your own together in an hour or less and buy a $50 Facebook credit from fiverr.com and throw some Facebook Ads at it by targeting super specific businesses and interests.

That way you would know if people really buy this kind of service.

Not sure if the winner had an inside scoop or they bidded up their own auction or what but looks super dodgy to me!
