Tweet vs Retweet in SEO

What will hypotheticaly leave a greater effect on SEO: 1000 tweets or 1000 re-tweets? And why?

Tweet its just like you post in your wall but retweet means shear the your post other people's . and personally i think retweet its better than tweet because retweet spend fast in market than tweet.

I like both, but if I had to choose one or the other, I would pick tweet...I don't have any evidence that one is better than the other...

Retweets are seen by that profiles followers so much more reach seo wise.

Neither has effect on SEO if they're fake/botted since twitter links are no-follow. The value that social shares give actual search engine rankings is the fact that if it's being shared on social media then it's probably being shared online, which results in backlinks.

People that say otherwise are usually the ones that sell social signals.

I don't know that there's evidence one way or the other. Tweet's are original content, and Google loves original content...

from my little experience, tweet is better than retweet
i do not know why, ask matt cuts!
