Pump and dump with crypto currencies?

Do you guys think it would be possible to organize a large scale pump and dump scheme? Lets say if we got all the active members of bhw and other forums and had everyone buy like 100$ or one currency and when it reached a certain point we all sell them off. I know this is about as black hat as you can get, but do you think it would be feasible. And more importantly work?

Also how difficult would it be to sell of a huge amount of coin in a very short amount of time?

Very easily possible, its happening with a coins every day now. Just look at Cryptsy, where alot of coins go to die.
