Getting Followers Without Getting Banned(Twitter)

Hi all,
I am new to BHW.
A question: I am creating twitter accounts for each of my niche blogs, then finding twitter accounts based on my niche and following their followers. For example, I have a Buddhism blog, and am following everyone who follows the Dalai Lama. Unfortunately, this has been getting my accounts suspended. Apparently too many users blocked my account or reported it as spam. My question to you is, is there any way to follow the follow lists of (slightly) related accounts without getting blocked by users? In other words, say you have a brand new twitter account for a certain niche, how would YOU go about growing a targeted list of followers?

Make your accounts seem less spammy and more realistic so they look like they really want to follow the niche related followers, not just sell something to them or shoot them a link lol. Also are you sure that they are getting banned because of the users blocking them, because since you are creating brand new accounts with proxies you may be using bad proxies and/or you may be going over twitters limits with your following

I am not using proxies as yet.....i have all my accounts so far on my default proxy which I am pretty sure is clean.

I am just following within the twitter limit of 1000 followers per day(until i hit the technical limit).

how many accounts are on your one ip, you can't have to many that's probably the issue.

I have 17 on the one IP.....i know they say the recommended is 5....but i have seen people say they have gotten away with as high as 30. Also, are those twitter accounts that have gotten suspended done for? or can I salvage them?

Theyre probably done. And 17..........you maybe want to tone that down lol

Age of the accounts is very important. I am running 70 accounts, no proxies, no suspentions

You need to let your accounts grow naturally. This means don't follow to much per day (1000 is way to much even if twitter technically allows it). You will get enough followers over time if you post constantly and quality content.

Well it depends how many followers you have at the moment. Usually i take it slow till i hit 2000 followers (200-500 follows a day), after I hit 2000 I start doing 1000 follows per day.

There are people using even 70 accounts as someone mentioned in this thread but being a newbie with no experience, you actually need to go the hard way and follow what most people say and not what one or two of them say like managing 70 accounts without using any proxies.

you will just lose all 17 at once if one were to be suspended instead of only 1 being suspended
