Don't use too many tags, 3-5 would be a good amount. Some would even say that's too much. Just use tags related to your niche, it should come pretty naturally unless you didn't write the content.

How do i find keywords/tags. I got internet business promoter a software i don't know if it can find the precise keywords which are being searched, also tell me other alternatives and info on how to get them.

Tags some common words that matches in your post.Or word that you want to be highlighted. You may use keyword as tags.
how to find keyword---Just open google search and write one word of your post title then press space bar and see what happens.

I have found that simply using Google analytics and the keyword tool have provided me the best keyword combinations. So i advice you the same.

Do some keyword research first by using tool like Google's Adwords keyword planner. It provides you the list of keywords with average monthly search and its competition. Pick low competition keywords from the list especially long tail keywords with three or more words. Because its very hard these days to rank for single or two words mostly they have high competition.

Tags are truly important for each blog post you publish. To a certain extent, tags could be used to replace searching, if done well.

The tags that you may use for your blog posts should be directly or indirectly related to what your post is about. Generally, it should answer the questions: where, what, why, when, how.

For example, if your publish a blog post is about SEO tools, you may consider the following tag options:

Where: website, blog
What: SEO software, SEO tools, internet marketing tools
Why: website optimization, website promotion
When: Panda update, Penguin update
How: content optimization, building links

Ideally, you should focus on 3-5 tags per post, so there's no need to use all of them at once. Just choose the tags that best describe your specific posts.
