Multiple domains hosted on the same IP

As of current I got 5 websites hosted on a single IP.
I know there's nothing wrong with this initially (I don't interlink them).
The thing is; 2 of the sites are optimized through blog networks exclusively which means they will most likely get penalized sometime in the future.
My concern now is if these penalities will affect my other sites.
Note that all my 5 sites are about the very same niche - in in general quite similar.

Why wait till your sites get penalized? Get a variety of strong contextual backlinks and create fresh, targeted content on your websites.

You really aren't reading my question. Whether I choose churn&burn sites or the opposite is not the point of this thread....

As far as you don't interlink them,you are safe.I would not link my sites together,in this kind of situation.Probably those to 2 sites get hit but other 3 will be safe.Still,if you have used a decent PBN for those 2 sites,then that should have to be safe and secure.!
