Tips for using a GSA?

Hey Guys,

I know this is kind of a silly general question, but I'm just wondering if you guys have any tips for using the GSA SER software to improve ranking. My main goal right now is trying to figure out how to rank YT videos better with it, but I ran a campaign and submitted about 300 links, and about 75 of them are already verified, but my video hasn't gotten any additional views at all. I'm also going to try out some SEO campaigns for some websites, but just worried nothing is going to work, or I could make things worse.

Sorry dude, but you're already in the wrong place.

You must be willing to risk it all. If you're "playing it safe" and afraid that you might get slapped or that it might not work, you're limiting your actions, unconsciously. Belief -> Actions. If you have weak beliefs, you'll take poor actions.

Real players don't worry about failing. Picture this: if any GSA campaign or any automated link building was GUARANTEED to work, what would the incentive be to not go the extra mile? When you remove fear, you remove the #1 thing that's holding you back (I sure hope that laziness isn't the next one on the list)

Does this mean that you'll rank overnight? No. But it prepares you for the type of mindset you must have to succeed in SEO or any other game.

As for practical advice I'd say study the GSA forum. It's a goldmine. Do your own tests on things that you do not care as much about. That way it will hurt less when your projects bomb. Contextual tiers + sinks for each are a good starting place. Some links should never be pointed at your $ site. Velocity is important - steady beats volume almost everytime. Read, read then test. There's no other way.

You don`t need a lot of tips for YouTube videos. Keep linking: the views will increase when the video become ranked higher according to the search queries for your keywords. However 75 backlinks are NOTHING. Rather 1000-2000 weekly.

Well of course you didn't got any additional views when you didn't even rank video in Google, right? They are probably not yet even indexed. Keep building links.

For websites - if you use correct settings you will be fine, don't just blast randomly.

I tried to rank a youtube video in a medium competition. Built around 85K links(submitted only).
It started to rank within a week or so, before it got flagged within hours of hitting 1-3 spot

Thanks a lot guys. This really helps me out a lot with getting started on using the GSA. I was under the impression that a few hundred submissions was a lot (probably because I was manually entering the Capcha's haha), but now I know otherwise. I think I am going to need to go find a capcha tool to use.

And you're right Hugh, part of it is fear. But I think I'm just going to go over some of these links and then try it out on some 2.0s and do a bunch of tests
