Depends what you mean by "anime site".
Are you using copyrighted material like TV Shows, Films etc? Or selling Anime merchandise? OR your own material.

Either one of those mentioned is possible.

The only problem you need to safeguard yourself from is Copyright Infringement. Either use the same "fair use" line from their website footer or create a DMCA/Removal Request page.
When your site is getting huge traffic I'd suggest a private server to handle the volume (wpengine, singlehop)

Hey White Night, how has your anime website been going for you? I've been trying to run my own website, but I feel like i've been doing it so inefficiently. I was able to get over 100,000 views for a couple months, then I had a lot of school work. So the views have decreased dramatically. Could I get some help or advice for you?
Actually I will take advice and help from anyone so feel free to comment.
