I will pay anybody who can write & rank an article/blog post/guest post/squidoo len/video/etc...in other words, if you can rank it (regardless of what it is) for one of the keywords provided below I'll pay you. I will be paying per item ranked, per month (repeat payments for the same item, as long as it stays ranked), and you can rank for as many or as few of the keywords as you'd like. The keywords the items you would need to rank for to be eligible for payment are gone over below. In total, I'm looking to pay out over $2,000 a month for a total of three months.

Throughout this thread, I'll use pictures of URLs/keywords. The reason for that is because I don't want this thread to rank for them. When a picture of a URL is used, I'll link the image to the URL in the picture for convenience. URL shorteners were used, again, because I don't want this thread to show up in search results.

Backstory - Before I Get to Terms of Payment​

Back in April of 2013, I opened this thread requesting affiliates for a product I own, that product is called

). The website has been redesigned as we rolled out a ton of new features recently (like supporting 3 sites, 100% worldwide for all of them). It is a browser plugin that users pay a recurring monthly subscription to me to use (prices vary from $19.99 a month to $59.99 a month, depending on the features selected and the sites you want to use it on). It provides analytical data about the auctions & users from these three sites:

At the time when I opened that thread, the software was new...it is now the leader in it's niche (and the barrier to entry in this niche is extremely high, as you need at least 2 years of data to have a viable product). You can see in that thread from a year ago that I had just over 200 users. Now I have nearly 2,500 users (not nearly all of those are paid users of course, as the software has a "free" option you can use without paying). You can see this by looking at the plugins Google & Firefox listings, as they publicly show the number of active users:

I can't say exactly how much it's earning in subscriptions now, as my partner would kill me, but I can say it's in the tens of thousands of dollars per month, and some affiliates that joined up a long long time ago have made some decent profits.

Why Should You Care About the Above?

Well, because in addition to me paying you to rank an item for the keywords below (having nothing to do with being an affiliate), if you sign up for the affiliate program for my product and use that link within whatever you've ranked, you stand to make a heck of a lot more than just what I'm going to pay you in cash to rank something...because my software sells like f*cking hot cakes and it's an excellent product to boot (we now have over $29k put into this project, and it truly is an incredible piece of software).

We have an "in house" affiliate program and are also listed on Clickbank. You can sign up as an affiliate for our in house affiliate program here:

. Alternatively, you can generate your CB aff link here. The commissions are exactly the same, 25% recurring for the life of the customer, regardless of which one you use to sign up with.

We have two affiliate programs because, unfortunately, clickbank gave us approval problems for a second product we rolled out (our aut0bidder). This forced us to sell our aut0bidder related items via PayPal. If you use our in house affiliate program, you'll be paid regardless of whether the customer buys via clickbank or paypal. If you use clickbank, you'll only be paid if the customer buys clickbank, so using the in house affiliate program is the best option.

Our refund rate hovers at around 8% and our chargeback rate hovers around 0.35% (for those of you who are familiar with the clickbank tiers, we're rated blue, one level away from the best possible vendor rating).

Alright, Let's Get to the Good Stuff - What Work I'll Pay you Cash to Do

So we've been able to generate this $xx,xxx in subscribers through AdWords, a meager affiliate base and SOME SEO work. The problem, SEO wise, is getting quality backlinks from related blogs/sites and article marketing, quite frankly, is a real PIA. I've got next to no time, as we're still, as of this very second, rolling out more and more features for the software every single day.

Go ahead and google:

. You'll see the majority of the content is very very old. There are really no products for affiliates in this niche to market and the niche is relatively small. Because of that, there are basically no blogs or forums (or very very few) that are tightly related to my product.

So, what I'm willing to do, is to pay anybody who can rank any item (video, article, squidoo lens, blog post, webpage...anything at all) $100 per item ranked, per month, for just over 3 months for each of the keywords below In addition to the cash I'll pay you, per item, if you use an affiliate link to link back within the article, you'll not only get what I pay you but you'll get the residual income from the sales that come from your ranked items.

This thread is here for a number of reasons...it's a way to get exposure for my affiliate program of course, but it's also a small way of mine to give back to BHW while simultaneously getting a "surge" of content out there on the web about my software.



I know for a fact that there are some users that spend hours and hours ranking articles/blogs/videos/etc for this and that and see no return on that effort. I also know that some people have their own little systems in place that allow them to rank certain items fairly easily, but don't know where to direct those efforts. Well, here is your opportunity to KNOW FOR A FACT that if you rank a few items you can be looking at a few hundred dollars a month to into the thousands just for ranking them, and then residual income from any sales generated.

Terms of Payment​

Here are the keywords I'm willing to pay you for to rank anything at all for in the top 10 results (US Google top 10):

Whatever it is you rank, has to meet the following requirements:

1. It must link back to my site (any page found within the top menu bar of this site:
   
   or simply the homepage). You don't have to use an affiliate link, but I obviously suggest it as you're only going to make more money.
2. The article must be positive in nature
3. Somewhere in the item you've ranked, you'll need to mention your BHW username so I know it's "you" I'm paying (as you'll PM me your paypal email addres). Alternatively, if you've signed up as an affiliate using our in house affiliate program, you don't need to include anything in your article other than your affiliate link as you'll be able to include your PayPal email address within your affiliate profile on the site and I'll send your money to that paypal email address
4. You must use one of the following keywords as anchor text when linking back to my site (incidentally, these are the best topics to have what you're trying to rank be about):

As soon as you have an item ranking in the top ten US google results, PM me the URL. I'll add your URL to serpbook, and I'll give you a link to view your rankings on serpbook. SERPBOOK WILL BE THE ONLY WAY I'LL TRACK URLS...I WILL NOT ACCEPT PERSONALLY SUBMITTED TRACKING RESULTS. SERPBOOK ISN'T BIASED AND IS THE ONLY THING THAT WE'LL ALL REFER TO MONITOR RANKINGS. THE SERPBOOK TRACKING URL I PROVIDE YOU WITH IS WHAT WILL BE USED. DO NOT PM ME A URL TO TRACK UNTIL YOU'RE ALREADY IN THE TOP TEN FOR ONE OF THE THREE PROVIDED KEYWORDS.

When You'll Be Paid, How Much and for How Long:
You'll receive your first payment of $100 when any item of yours ranks in the first top ten results for any of the three provided keywords for 13 out of 15 days. 30 days after you received that payment, if that same item ranked in the top ten results for 25 out of those 30 days, you'll be paid another $100. That will repeat for a total of 3 times. That means the most you can receive for any 1 ranked item is four payments for a total of $400.

What Happens if an One Item Ranks in the Top Ten for More Than One of the 3 Provided Keywords?
You'll be paid per item, per keyword. So if one item ranks in the top ten for more than one keyword, you'll be paid in the manner outlined above, for each keyword it ranked for. So if you ranked one item for two keywords 13 out of 15 days, you'll be $200 instead of $100.

NO PAYMENTS WILL BE SENT TO ANYBODY, REGARDLESS OF WHEN IT WAS RANKED, AFTER AUGUST 15TH.
This is being done so that we can revisit the terms of payment on the 15th where we may start this whole thing over again and increase the amount we're willing to pay, or stop it altogether...or, who knows. Just know that no payments will be sent to anybody after August 15th, 2014.

I think you missed the point, you can do both...if you promote it via the affiliate program WHILE doing this, you make money both ways. It's not one or the other.

There are very few other ways to make money in this niche with those terms, that isn't to say there aren't any, however this isn't a case of "this or that"...you could very easily do both.

They have a "referral" program, where if somebody signs up using your link, they give you free b1ds to use on their site...it isn't cookie based, so if somebody clicks your link they have to buy immediately (if they don't, you don't get credit), and even then, you don't get cash. You get 25 b1ds which have a cash value of $15 that you cannot cash out...you have to use them on the site.

Now lets look at DD...they don't have any affiliate or referral program at all.

So if you rank for one of those terms, you're not going to make any money directly through either one of those outlets at all.

Now if you look at competing software to mine (of which there are only two, three if you count the guy whose software is awful) only one of them has an aff program and they have a total of 97 users versus my nearly 2500 (because my software is infinitely better in every way imaginable) and they have less than a whopping 100 monthly searches a month versus my nearly 3,000.

So while at first glance you might think there are other ways to make money in this niche, there are actually very few...which is, as I said in the OP, one of the main factors there are basically zero websites to get quality backlinks from and basically no content in this entire niche...nobody has a reason to talk about it.

I believe a few years ago there were attempts at MLM p3nny auct1on schemes, but the industry was, for the most part, cleaned up after a lot of federal scrutiny.

This has left behind the "cream of the crop" so to speak, which are the sites this software supports. They are the most reputable sites that have been around for the longest period of time (again, for the most part).

I'm sure if you look around for even just five or ten minutes you'll find there are really very few ways (as an affiliate) to make money. Which incidentally is also one of the reasons this is an extremely profitable niche for an affiliate. There is "as close to zero" competition as it gets in a niche with this much search volume.

That's great, happy to hear it! Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

Let me give you a few examples to hopefully help answer your question.

Let's say you rank "blog post A" on the 1st of April somewhere in the top ten google results for one of the provided keywords in the OP.

April 15th rolls around, and SERPbook shows that you were in the top ten results for that keyword for 13 out of those first 15 days of April. You'd be paid $100. Then when May 15th rolls around, SERPbook shows that same blog post was in the top ten results for 25 out of those 30 days (from April 15th to May 15th), you'd be paid another $100. This would repeat for two more 30 day cycles.

If during any 30 cycle, the article you were first paid for having in the top ten results for 13 out of 15 days isn't ranked in the top ten results for at least 25 out of 30 days, you aren't eligible to paid for that article.

If you guys are earning tens of thousands (I imagine 20k+ a month) and have invested 29k already into this, there is something bothering me. Why don't you just hire someone established and have them do 10 different sites and SEO them?

I mean, no disrespect, I understand your approach, but being in this world for years you surely know that no serious SEO company/person does any work without a payment upfront.

I've used this approach in the past when I was broke and I had to get things moving, I got people to do work on pure commission.

Also, the fact that you would cut this payment in August makes it really bad. I mean, that cuts any possible 'whitehat' efforts and leaves bh as the only possibility, which leads me to think that you are simply looking for a quick boost for a short period of time.

No disrespect, it just makes me feel really uncomfortable that you guys are banking so much from this project yet you are only willing to pay a 0.5% per month after the website is ranking.

Best of luck with the project, and hope you find a lot of people willing to undertake this path.

The correct way to do things, SEO wise, would be to hire a team to make a bunch of sites & SEO them, except I wouldn't pay somebody/team to do it, I would do it myself.

The problem (for me) is time. I have to handle not only this entire project, but also the dev team, feature list and the backend of the members site...not to mention support tickets...I could go on, but you get the idea.

As for paying a team to do it, the problem (at the moment) is where to get the additional funds from. As you mentioned below, yes this project is doing well and bringing in a good amount. However, the costs at the moment are also a very good amount. Without going into too much detail, I can say that we just hired an entirely new team of developers from a very large company, we still have our old development team, we have our static monthly server costs (which are VERY high), we have a pretty substantial adwords expense every month...I could go on, but the point is we have a skyhigh list of expenses. This isn't to mention that we're aware of a competitor that will be rolling out a update, so we're paying our dev team(s) a bonus to have features X,Y & Z rolled out before X date (sorry, I can't give specifics in this area...can never know who is or will be reading this thread).

However, it's worth mentioning that nowhere in the OP did I even mention somebody making a site, that would be crazy...I specifically said article/video/lens/blog post/etc for a reason. It's because I know for a fact that there are plenty of people on BHW who have solid systems in place for doing article marketing/ranking YT vids/might have a google news blog in the shopping niche/etc and these people are capable of quickly throwing something together and getting it to stick for a bit with not a whole lot of effort. In fact, I already received a PM from a Jr. VIP (won't share his name unless he's cool with it) saying: "I can get [...] ranking in no time flat for keyword X, keyword Y will take a bit longer". In other words, he is capable of getting a certain type of item (again, don't want to share it and blow up his spot) ranking in no time...probably using blackhat methods, so who knows how long it will stay up...but that's the point of this thread.

I'd say you're a pretty astute individual, as you specifically mentioned the EXACT reason for this thread, which I'll quote here: "which leads me to think that you are simply looking for a quick boost for a short period of time." that is EXACTLY what I'm looking for. There are plenty of members here capable of getting something (anything) to stick for a bit (not forever) on the first page. Those are the members I'm looking for. I was very transparent with the terms in the OP and I'm not looking to do anything shady or screw anybody over. The only people who would undertake this, would be the types of people I've gone over, because of how clear the terms are.

As for the "no disrespect" comment...none taken. What you're bringing up isn't anything out of the ordinary, it just stems from a slight misunderstanding of what it is I'm looking for. I don't want anybody to take the time to try and flesh out a "mini site" or anything like that...I of course know that there "is no time for that" (given my terms, which again, are clearly laid out and very much on purpose). We are just looking for a quick burst/influx of related content from blackhat members capable of getting quick results and would only expect the people to do it would be people who are capable of doing with very little effort...and those types of members with the appropriate skillset and experience do exist (as I said, one of them has already reached out to me via PM).

Don't take this the wrong way, but I of course cannot pay you "in advance" for something that you may or may not even use it to do, if you see what I'm saying.

I'd of course love to see an article about our product up on an authority site, but I really couldn't justify just sending you money (nothing against you).

You'll notice all the content on the first page for the keywords I provided is ages old...if you have an authority site, it's possible an article could quickly shoot up to the front on it's own, even if only temporarily.

What I've decided to do, is get 50 articles written and give those out to interested parties in an effort to make this as easy & painless as possible. They'll be high quality articles, at least 500 words in length and hand written by real people. Not spun garbage, and completely new & unique.

Once they're finished, I'll probably start a new thread since I'll be providing content, videos, banners, etc. I figure I should make this as painless, easy & as "plug and play" as possible.

There is a lot there in the OP to go over, but here it is in a nutshell:

Rank something in the top ten results for one of the keywords provided, and you get paid $100 four times: the first time after it's ranked for 15 days, then 3 more times every 30 days provided it stays ranked. You can rank as many or as few items as you want, but for each additional item, you earn more money.

If you choose to also include an affiliate link, you still get paid cash for ranking it, but in addition, you'll make residual income from the sales what you've ranked generate.
