A question about web 2.0s to money-site links

Hi,

I have a question about linking to money-site from web 2.0s sites.

Let's consider this scenario:

Someone starts to build a new site (on a new domain) and at the same time starts building a couple of web 2.0s (new domains too). The site is updated daily with new contents and the web 2.0s are updated weekly with new contents (lets say 2-3 articles per week).

My question is, when will be a good time to link back to the money-site from the web 2.0s? At the end of 1st month, at the end of 2nd month? I know that the later the better but I'm also asking about the shortest time span (that will help the SEO) to put a link back on the money site.

Well, I think after 1 or 2 introductory content - You should start giving links to your money site. But remember 1 thing that you will give links naturally and try to give 1 more link to any authority sites as well - which looks more natural. I don't think anyone should have to wait for 1 or 2 months for web 2.0 properties.

as soon as they get indexed (web 2.0), that's how i used to do it.
and yes, give one more link to auth sites, it'll make them looks more-natural

Do you mean the money site is using blogging platform? The money site updated regularly by blogging. How frequent is up to you. If you want to post an article into it daily, it is great!

Web 2.0s e.g: blogspot, wordpress, tumblr, etc. Each 2.0 updated once time per week, it is enough. And contains link back toward to the money site. The 2.0s used as tier #1. You need to generate backlinks from tier #2 toward to the web 2.0s. e.g: social bookmarks, article directories, blogposts, etc.

As soon as they're indexed. I've experimented with this.

Build the web 2.0's, get them indexed, and then start adding your links in moderation.

Make sure you have more content than links though.

Since you have experimented, let me ask you two questions:

1. what is a good enough number of web 2.0 blogs for tier 1?

2. How much content per blog you think is good enough?

In my opinion:

1. That depends on competition. 5-10 it's good for start. Then later u can build 1 new per month. Be sure u build 5 but 5 five strong and natural Web 2.0's. It's better than 50 crappy.

2. 3 articles is MINIMUM. 5-10 it's better. U can also add articles in future, to old Web 2.0's. Articles must contain minimum 350 words. 500 is great.

Are you guys buying good content for Tier 1 Web 2.0's, buying cheap content, or spinning? It seems building so many Web 2.0's and having to put minimum 5 articles on each on would get pretty costly.
