Sorry if the title seems misleading but it does relate to spam. I've been receiving spam comments on my websites and I usually just delete it until recently... I spoke with a few IM buddies about the idea of spam and how to use it. Anyways, if anyone is in the SEO business/ knows how to provide SEO services for others, you can use the spam.

You've seen it, you've done it yourself, but you shouldn't comment spam on your money site. I've seen an increase lately of comment spamming to their money site and the website owners of the site that is comment spamming is our potential clients. I've tried it out on 20 different emails. 3/20 website owners wanted to switch services because they didn't know what they were doing or just hired fiverr gigs to their money site.

Anyways, make use of the spam you receive. I'm sure this isn't the first time someone thought of this but it's a reminder. So to sum it all up, if you're involved in the SEO business and know how to properly do SEO, the next you receive a spam comment to your website and it links to a money website, send the website owner a proposal.

Hmm very sneaky . Obviously the emails they use are throwaway but we can go to their money site and use a contact form/whois data to let the owner their current SEO provider is doing something wrong.

Good idea, you can also take advantage of the spam comments (takes a little time but it works) but correcting the spelling and grammer and link out to one of your other sites or a client's sites in the same niche.

1. any comment that has html automatically goes to a spam folder.
2. any comment that has html is manually examined to see if it is a legitimate comment, and if it is it is moved to the comments and allowed to be posted.
3. any spam comment is copied verbatim to a file and then deleted from the spam folder.
4. any spam comment is then loaded into Scrape Box and merged with this footprint: "%kw%", which adds begin end quotes.
5. spam comments are either scraped with Scrape Box or with Gscraper.

that I have distilled down to the commonality and scraped for. If they do not produce enough results I then merge those comments with a word list. You find a large number of auto approve sites doing this.

Feel free to add your ideas. My own idea is that spam comments are not a sign of a website in distress, but rather a website trying to improve serp.

Spammers regularly shape up contexts to get the list of subscribers to mailing lists and get their way around to shape up their marketing proposal which is very pushy.

Well that's a crafty technique, I am gonna try it on the comments I received so far.
