Setting up a PBN network with not backlinks on domains ?

I found a few expired domains related to my niche, was thinking of purchasing them and setting up a private blog network, the problem is these domains do not have any backlinks on them but have a good PR of 2 - 3 or 4 Is it work setting up a PBN using these domains or should I find some with backlinks already on them ?

If they truly don't have any backlinks then the PR showing is no longer accurate and they would be worthless as PBN domains. What backlink checker are you using to figure out they have no backlinks?
 
Im using expireddomains.net they list the blacklinks the domains have on their search results.
 
Cheapest place to finding a expired domain at expireddomain.net -- But the bad thing is that the expired domain listed there are more Spammy than real -- Did you check everything up? Since, nowadays, DA, PR can be manipulated.
 
What precautions should i take to check PR, DA? I have scrapebox if thats any help. Some of the domains do have a bit of backlinks but only like from 8 domains etc... Are these enough backlinks ?

One last question are domains like .au .de etc usefull for a PBN if my main domain is .co.uk ?

Yes the domain extension doesn't matter, so you'll be fine.

Only thing that matters is the strength of the backlink profile of each expired domain.

Interesting its quite hard to find an expired domain to match your exact niche it seems.

My site was 8th place for main keyword. Even have been 5th place.
I searched expired domains with many backlinks and from different Ips.
Bought different hostings for different IP's. Replaced pages from time back machine which had backlinks. Different templates.
Put spun content on them. And wrote one spun article about my niche.
Yea my mistake was may be spun content with direct link to website may be....
Then basted backlinks to all sites for a week. And indexed with lindexed.
That was my second big mistake. I think.
So like lightning fast my mainsite nearly deindexed from google. went to over 100th page.
I will never create a private blog network again.
1- Consuming too much time
2- Expensive
3- Very hard to not to leave footprints
And most important is you can use only once! What happens if you loose you interest to main site or niche? You may find a better one. But all the sites about your old niche so you can not use with a new site.
Better to open a private blog network about news or with general content. So you can use them for several sites on different ips. But again too much efort, time, money.

What did you expect with that sort of approach. You can't treat your PBN with so little respect and hope to get decent results from it!
 
Check your backlinks, you may have a few powerful backlinks on the expired domain. a few powerful backlinks beats thousands of regular backlinks any day.

Niche relevant expired domains are not necessary unless you are planning to 301 them to your money site.

1. I agree with you. Creating a PBN is a time-consuming process, but if you appreciate the power of PBNs, you wouldn't mind spending a lot of time setting it up.

2. Expensive, yeah! Same response as No. 1.

3. There are certain measures you can take to minimize footprints. You should have read enough before attempting to create a PBN.

4. You can use a PBN not once, not twice, but as many times as you want. However, it has to be done reasonably.

Try building your own. I'm serious.

I've been research this topic for months and all you really gotta do is:

1) Buy up a bunch of hosting. http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...t-approach-hosting-pbn-sites.html#post7345595
From what I understand, the more popular the host the better. But economically speaking, it would be expensive as hell to host all your sites on the most popular hosts.

So mix up like 25% popular hosts (hostgator, bluehost, godaddy, etc)
Then 50% mid tier hosts, the ones that cost $3-$5 (hawkhost, stablehost, hostwinds, etc)
Then 25% low tier hosts $1-$2 (hobohost, zettahost, 123systems, etc)

This is what I'm in the process of doing right now. Just to get a small PBN started. As it expands I'm gonna use my server + cloudflare to host like 33% of my domains to keep costs down.

2) Find guys who are selling good domains then just buy them up. I'm starting with hardcore the guy in my sig (and no I'm not being paid to promote his service I'm promoting it cause he's got great reviews). I'll probably test a few other people as well.

I figure once I pick up 20-30 domains from reputable sellers, THEN I'll understand what to look for once I start finding them on my own.

From what I'm seeing, metrics are meaning less and less. So you gotta learn how to find domains with no history of being used in a PBN, non-spammy links, no manipulated metrics, etc. Sites with a strong backlink profile. That part I'm still a bit confused about. Because I'm not sure how this can be done with software. But I've heard about something called "domripper" and I know guys are building their own proprietary programs to find these types of domains.

All that shit I'll learn down the road as I go.

3) Content. In my case, I have 16,000 articles in 3 primary niches that I ripped before yahoo voices when down. So I plan on using a small portion (the higher quality articles) for my PBN. But there are many other ways you can get content for free. Use your brain. There are tons of databases out there with content that's not published on the internet. So find those databases and steal the content. Or get old library books and transcribe the content with Dragon Naturally Speaking.

I know there are dudes who manually type their content but that shit would drive me crazy. As long as the sites look and read like money sites, pass copyscape I don't care where the content comes from. That's just me.

If you pay someone to do it for you, you're either gonna get a shitty PBN that can't rank shit or you're gonna wind up spending 10xs what you should for it.

Tons of guys have learned the art of PBN creation so there's no reason why you can't learn it too.
