Steep conditions right there... I'm not too sure this belongs in the lounge either.

Its steep I know, but everyone is based out of Quebec City and its a French speaking province. You can get by not knowing the language, but we encourage people to learn the basics to better get along with the people here.

Been to Qc city couple of times, beautiful city and very friendly peeps. They definitely know how to have fun haha
Poutiiiiiine lol
Anyway good luck with your search

You might find this to be a community of entrepreneurs rather than a job seeking herd of sheeps.

I cannot but wish you best luck in your hiring and suggest you to look elsewhere.

What are the payments by the way? Could not find it anywhere.

/e: tried searching for the website but nothing shows up when putting crack revenue. Is there a website or is it still on the building?

If you want experienced applicants with those conditions, include the salary. Money is usually a motivating factor.

Free t-shirt with every job! woo hoo!

In all seriousness...prob not the best place to put this...

It sounds fun.
Too bad I dont have too much time. Many projects on the door, but your thread is very very attractive.

nice advertising. I wish I could post my services on here for free too

Try searching for "Crak Revenue" instead of crack revenue. Google shows 126k results for me.

Fair point- bhw not really the best place for hiring.

We offer
  • Group activities

Considering the genre of the company product, it makes me wonder what the 'group activities' could be. :clap2:

PS. Considering the post below - I am not bashing, just having a little fun with it.

Some of you guys blow my mind, haha.

Someone comes on a forum and offers jobs to the community, (if they so choose), and suddenly they are deemed ridiculous and bashed for posting here.

So what if this is a forum for entrepreneurs. You could very well hone your skills and meet a lot of new people, in a laid back setting doing what you love. Oh, and what every entrepreneur could use a little of to further themselves? $$$.

The traveling obviously isn't ideal for everyone, and that's fine. I'm sure when he was making this post, he wasn't expecting everyone to jump up and down at the offer.

I'm all over this, and appreciate the opportunity.

If you are in Quebec and don't know how to speak French prepare to be scoffed at. I am very serious - you will have am awful time if you can't speak French because some people will simply not speak English to you even if they know how. If I'm going anywhere in Quebec, it will be Montreal for a weekend of partying/poutine/sugar pie and that's it. I have a pretty good handle on the language but as soon as they figure out your from another part of Canada - brace for impact :P.

That being said, this seems like a good opportunity for people living in Quebec already or coming from a French speaking country. Glad to see Canadian tech companies growing! Good luck guys!

Ah man... if only I wasn't going back to school in Toronto in the summer. I'm actually in Chicoutimi (few hours north) and am fluent in English and French. Best of luck guys!

By the way, you guys might want to grab a native English speaker to rewrite some of your forms. For the most part everything looks fine, but some of it is awkwardly worded.

And it's not that people will scoff at you in Quebec City, the majority of them just don't speak English (if so... not impeccably well). You'd get the same treatment if you went to China.

I also didn't know that you guys started from Quebec. Small world... kinda.

Alright, here comes a string of answers! :)

Do we get invited to those camel toe parties?

Only if you learn to play nice!

You're right. But there are many people here that would love the opportunity to get a steady pay check AND the chance to team up with an award winning company. Its a great place to learn new skills and meet people that have the same interests as yourself.

Obviously, this isn't the only place I'm posting the job offer. Talented people are hard to find, I need to cast a wide net in order to find the right people.

I'm not looking for drones, I'm looking for smart, motivated people to help us grow into new markets and develop cool new projects.

As for payments, we offer salaries based on your experience and what you can bring to the company. Our wages are competitive - we wouldn't have 80 full time employees in our offices if we didn't. :)

As for our site : http://lmgtfy.com/?q=crak+revenue and http://www.crakmedia.com/jobs#jobs

Oh, what happens at our conventions STAYS at our conventions :)

But as far as group activities go, we go paintballing, zip lining, sliding and organize a few parties every year. The average age at the office is 30. We know how to have fun :)

We also have a ton of perks such as free coffee, muffins, snacks, etc.

I would tend to agree with you for most parts of the province. However, our offices are in Quebec City, which is basically a huge tourist attraction. I have many, many english-only speaking employees and they all get along just fine. If you speak english, people just think you're a tourist and treat you nice.

Montreal though, thats a different story. It really depends in what part of the city you're in...

Keep the applications coming folks. :)
