New to adwords - Need help

Dear everyone ,

I am looking for some one to clear few doubts of mine . I have taken keywords and created campaign . But before funding i like to clear some of my doubts .

Lets say xyz keyword has 10$ per click

And i am looking to advertise that keyword in my campaign . Lets say my daily budget is 10$ per day and my cpc bid is 2$ .

Will i be receiving 5 clicks or just one click according to the above scenario ?

Theoretically, you would receive 5 clicks before you're maxed out. But there are several caveats. 1. Being your Quality Score for your ad. That has more to do with who you're bidding against. And 2. Google may go over your bid by as much as 20% on any given day, but never over your budget for the month. That would equate to a max bid of $2.40 per click or 4 per day. Depending on the competition, at 80% below cost, your ad may not even show up on the first page. That's the basic answer, though there are several other details to consider when implementing an Adwords campaign. Hope this helps.

It depends on various factors, one such example is that if the cpc for your targeted keyword is around 4$, then you can expect 2 to 3 clicks and on the other hand, if the minimum first page bid for your keyword is 1$, and even you made a bid of 2$, you still will be able to get anywhere between 8 to 13 clicks for 10$.

The game get's further complexed with QS, CTR and other things.

CPC is calculated based on your CTR for ads, how good is your text for ads connected with your keywords, and
do you have any text on your page that is connected with that keyword.
Everything should make sense, and with that you get a high quality score and cheaper price per click.

Actually, it depends on your quality score for your ad and what others are bidding on. Basically, the higher your quality score, the cheaper your clicks. If you bid $1.00 for XYZ keyword and your quality score is 7 (out of 10) and your competition bid $1.00 for XYZ keyword and his QS is 9, your competition would get listed first.

You can show any page you want in your ad. Just make sure the keywords are on that page and in your ad.

Higher CTR means lower CPC.

Higher QS means lower CPC.

Specific location targeting means higher CPC.

Exact match KW means higher CPC.

Peak time bidding means higher CPC.

But the questions is : when you bid a keyword and assuming you'll get a minimum 2% conversion rate, will you still have profit? It depends. If you are selling high value products, you MAY get profit. What's the best thing to do, TEST.

Hello,

For this your adwords account need optimization on the daily base. In first stage we just build or setup adwrods account. After that it need optimization. Like check each keywords performance, add more keywords time to time and remove those keywords which are not performance well.

To get maximum clicks in your daily budget, just make sure:

-Selected keywords QS is above 6 also start with lowest CPC bid i.e one suggested as first page bid

-Use a mix of exact and broad modifiers i.e with +keyword type (although exact will be of higher CPC but CTR is quite good which will overall help reducing the avg CPC of the campaign.

-Your adgroup and keywords plus the destination landing page should be tightly theme matched in order to get good QS.

-Over the time bid high for good keywords and reduce down low performing keywords.

-Run the campaign for at least a week to actually get some results and use voucher if you have.
