80 Million in Just Two Years!

Think ya got things a little mixed up there on how he got caught, he wasn't posting his email address anywhere in the end at all, but I couldn't agree with you more. The major majority of people have no idea what is possible online, and a lot of them won't believe you even if you try and tell them.

how he was caught?

Custom coding?

how he was caught?

It was a combination of things that ultimately led investigators to him, but one of the big breaks was a 4-5 year old thread from before he created Silk Road. He was looking for a developer with Bitcoin experience and posted his actual email address in the thread that he posted. He then used that same username on a couple of other forums to advertise Silk Road. There was a thread on stackoverflow.com as well. The visit he got where he told investigators that, "in theory anyone could purchase anything they wanted from a hidden web site called Silk Road" didn't help either. There were a number of other things that they were able to determine as well with various logs that helped confirm his identity, but that personal email he posted was years prior to him being investigated. You can google around and find the charging documents with the information in them on a couple of different sites.

Time for Silk Road 3.0 Lol

Why are you guys after Tor when tons of money is around you.
