Personal facebook blocked - upload Government ID

I've had my personal facebook blocked for over a week. It asks me to upload government ID and then it says they are reviewing my ID. I never got an email with the reason or anything. I have tried various times and attempted uploading different IDs etc. Nothing seems to work. Any way to contact fb or anyone else had similar?

I had similar issues got all my accounts banned and even my friends and family got their account got disabled 20 people in total

Facebook blocked my personal account too 1 year before and asked me to upload government ID proof. I showed them my middle finger. After that i never used facebook or any other social networking website nor any mobile app(whatsapp, viber etc)

You obviously are left to only upload the ID and wait for them to review it.

This FB is amazing..how dare they ask for such kind of identification??? Even the police is not allowed to take your ID if you are not suspected to commit a crime or driving..etc..Bunch of monkeys...

Thanks for the replies. I've been waiting for well over a week now. No email or anything. Others can still see my profile. Driving me mad. I have a feeling this is a block they give when they have no intention of giving your account back.

My ID was disabled twice by FB .
First time they told me that I have fake name (which I had ) and to upload the Govt ID
I did and after 17 days they opened it.

Then again after 3 months they disabled my ID saying that in my ID I'm have some sexually explicit pages (which I had ) ( adult page )
and they said my id permanently disabled and I can't open it again, they also didn't any option to put any proof.

Then I went to www.facebook.com/help/contact/260749603972907 and submitted the document again ,
and they opened my id in 3 days .

They say I am allowed to block out confidential information such as address, which I have done and uploaded. I have attempted to upload it probably 5 times now, both passport and drivers license. This is the screenshot of what I see upon submitting.



All very unhelpful, would be great if there was a contact number or email address instead of the hopeless community forums!

How long did it take for them to check the ID? Did you just have to upload it once or did you have to do it a few times before it was checked? I have tried drivers license and passport a few times each but not had a response yet.

This is what i used to contact them when they asked me to do the same.
I got an email from them [email protected] saying reply onto this email with your government id.
I Just did that and after few days i am able to login without any issues.

Thanks, I have sent both those addresses an email so hopefully at least one works!

Just by way of an update, it's coming up to 7 weeks with still no one having checked the ID, emailed me or unblocked the account. If anyone else is having the same problem then please let me know. Tempted to write a letter to their HQ or send the info to some shitty news site that will pressure them!

OP says in a post that hes been "blocking out his address and confidential info"

Maybe they keep ignoring you because you keep blocking and editing your ID. They don't want edited images.

Just upload your full ID, address, name, birthday....honestly....if Facebook wants to know about you, they can find out any piece of information they want.

I had a friend get his blocked, uploaded his full ID, and within 48 hours it got unblocked.
