OK one thing: You are also from India and you should know Sameer and Paul are 2 different names and can't be combined. Just after looking at name Sameer Paul, it can be confirmed it is 100% scam.

As Sameer5762 pointed out, be sure you verify who you're working with before sending them any information and definitely before sending funds. You'd be amazed at how many scams and ShitList threads that could be avoided if people just did their due diligence before doing business with someone. Anyways, thanks for the heads up and letting the community know about this "new" scam.

I think people can choose to have any unsername, and i knew sameer paul is not his name but his display name. But i never knew he will try to scam me using someone else name. I was lucky that i decided to verify his identity before giving my phone no. and then he ran away.

People are crazy to leave their skype names in their profile. Skype is the biggest time waster in the world. If people want to do business with you they can email you or pick up the phone, and PM to get that info.

For me, Skype is much more convenient then emailing/calling, but that's just my personal preference.
