Lets see what the outcome of this will be.

The way I'll see it, there are two possible outcomes.
Either he goes to jail, and keeps controlling the cartel from jail, as he once did, until he escapes.
OR the government or one of rival cartels find a way to kill him, and then another person will take his place as the leader of the Sinaloa cartel.
One thing we can rest assure, the drug trafficking will never stop, as long as there are people willing to pay for using drugs, and there's money to be made, it will never stop.
As long as there's demand, there will always be people or organizations wanting to supply!

Yeah i'm sure he'll keep the business running from there. Even if they do kill him in there. Like they mentioned in the article, there is someone else ready to take over the business in his place.

yeah i agree. I'm sure they won't touch him in there as this guy is highly respected. What I'm worried about is things worsening in Mexico with the Zetas since this is happening. Those guys are way more ruthless than this cartel and kill with no remorse. El chapo was controlling these guys from invading their territory.

Chapo had apparently expended his usefulness as a US intelligence asset. DEA and DOJ officials have previously corroborated that the U.S. government had an arrangement with Mexico's Sinaloa drug cartel that allowed the organization to smuggle billions of dollars of drugs while Sinaloa provided information on rival cartels:
