There are many beginner and seasoned SEOs here. How would you go about investing $100k into SEO projects?

- Would you invest it into just one project, or multiple?
- White, Grey or Black hat?
- Would you go after that super competitive industry you've always wanted to penetrate?
- What would you want that $100k to be in 1 year after you start investing in new projects, and how would you go about setting up your empire?

Cheers.

There is no need to invest 100k in websites, money does not = more money. Knowledge = more money and knowledge can't be bought.

People with knowledge can easily turn $0 into lots of $$$, a lot easier than someone with no knowledge can turn $100,000 into $$$

When it comes to such large investments it would be pure stupidity to invest in to spammy Amazon/Adsense sites.

If I would have that amount of money I would do this:

- find a professional studio with good cameras and good equipment
- find some good and funny script writers
- find good looking females which are super cute and funny
- find a guy who can edit videos, make custom intros, outros
- find a guy who is good with video sharing
- find several "trend makers" on Facebook and Twitter

Then I would create 10 different channels on Youtube, each channel has its own niche and 100 videos on each channel, a separate mail and Adsense account.

Each video would be an evergreen interesting topic, discussed trough interesting narration, the nice looking female and a few images here and there.

After that I would promote the videos trough paid advertisement so that they get some attention.

This guy with such a stupid idea is bringing a few hundreds per month:

1. Multiple
2. All
3. Must be Profitable, doesn't have to be competitive.
4. Providing passive income of at least $3-5,000 per month, then using that cash flow to re-invest in other projects.

Buy property to let out.

EDIT: just realised you meant back into websites.

Start a legit company.

Invest in technology (IT or renewable energy) or even cryptocoins. If you want passive income, setup Adsense sites and scale up but you can do that for under $100.

Build a micro niche adsense blog and buy links from sape for $99,950

Have I got a deal for you... my name is Bernie Madoff and I can turn that $100k in to a million in no time through my ponzi scheme, I mean my investment strategies.

Done that.......what a massive pain in the arse. The only people that make money from renting property are either people who get lucky by buying at the right time so getting a capital return or old fashioned scumbag greasy landlords.......mostly old time scumbag greasy landlords !

I would buy a house and rent it to some assholes :D

I'd invest time in education to get you to the point where you can make this decision for yourself. If you can't, you're asking to get hurt.

I would make myself some kind of arena in my back garden, pretty much the same as the Thunder Dome in Mad Max. Then with what I had left I would invest it in newbies from the Warrior Forum and make them battle to the death. I could also charge people to come and watch.

I would use the money to buy the valuable books related to SEO in Warrior Forum. A great to waste your money. Believe me.

I am less than 40 yrs old, I am on the Real Estate market. I never consider myself an old fashioned scumbag greasy landlord.

And for the $100k invest you can develop a software, or get together with other investors and get a bigger capital and build a medium scale business.

To be frank I'm disappointed in the amateurish responses. I expected better from this community.
